Chereads / Versus Reincarnations / Chapter 52 - Old house

Chapter 52 - Old house

All the houses in the vicinity had been scanned a few times already.

Other than houses, there were some medium-sized shops and other facilities that didn't reach high heights. Thus, it was pretty hard to sneak out for Reigner and two ladies following his back. Luckily enough, Paula and Reigner had the metal sphere ability.

In Reigner's case, it was slightly different. More like a metal sphere, it was the awareness of the reincarnation that could catch the small disturbance a few meters around him. His eyes turned to each moving object around his body.

Whether it was a small fly... or a human.

Behind, Paula was also doing her best to help, scouting the surroundings behind, so with these two individuals going forth, the chances of leaving the solitary area were high.

Soon enough, the meticulous escape had successfully gone through.

"It was nerve-wracking. But Reigner, our clothes stand out and we have to take a few stops to reach my house."

"It's no problem."

The item creation system could modify the clothes, so Reigner just needed to snatch the magazine with some recent fashions! Since they already had left the deserted area, the humans from the earth had greeted them bountifully with their presence.

Of course, the army couldn't possibly evacuate the whole city.

That's why it was easy for Reigner to snatch the magazine from some high school ladies that were reading it eagerly. They gasped at him and even shouted 'Police' startling Paula with the new term. Then, she got shocked even more as the ladies cussed openly without any scruples at Reigner.

Ignoring these women, Reigner skimmed through the recent fashion, carefully choosing the clothes for his wife, then the ones that suit Sylvie's current color.

One's wife is always the apple of one's eye!

"Stop bitching. If I wanted to steal it, then I would've done it already."

He then threw the magazine at the two high school ladies. One of those got hit rather strongly by that, her fake eyelash falling off. This caused Reigner's eye to twitch. His eyes then sought help from Paula's sweet face without any slap.

A few minutes later, Reigner spoke.

"We are ready to go."

"Reigner, do I look good in the earthling's clothes?"

"You would look amazing in every kind of cloth, Paula."

"Hehe~~ How would you rate the current ones?"

The married fools joked on their way to the stop, completely forgetting about Sylvie who found the skirt to be rather too short. Her clothes were as if school uniform, but with some changes! Is that really the current trend?

As for Paula, her clothes got modified so much she looked like a model with all the accessories emphasizing her pale neck and skin. Her petite shoulders were exposed by some kind of shirt Sylvie was not aware about.

Then, her legs wore high waist jeans.

'Did he just throw at me high school uniform? Haaa... Won't we gather attention in such combination?'

Sylvie would like to ask such a question yet the married fools' aura didn't allow her to open up her mouth. She could just follow them, looking around the city which was filled with technology and neon banners, etc.

Everything was different and rather safe...

At least Sylvie felt like no one would be stupid enough to come out and threaten them with all these people around. The army was also not too far away and some soldiers could be seen going around.

If it was another world, then Sylvie guessed that someone already would've had come out to ask for Paula.

Using the strength and status, he would either be stopped or killed by the one with the girlfriend. Here, the procedures would be different and who would like to follow and bother with these?

Unluckily enough, some fools didn't care.

"Hey, sweetie. I know he is so damn ugly you have to keep your eyes closed, but believe in me, I can open these."

Yes, fools.

"You think coming with friends is enough?"

"Hey, hey~~ Don't bark or your clothes will get tattered. Daddy had paid a lot for these, right? Hah- BLURGH!"

Such fools didn't even require a minute to get beaten. Thanks to his body strengthened by supernatural energy and training done in another world, Reigner just swung his fist, dodging the slow punches of the bored with life fools.

He sent them flying, then speeding up, he disappeared from the street.

"You felt how weak they are, right? That's how it is, sometimes, such people can bother you when you go outside for shopping for example. Mostly, just answer them away harshly and they will give up. If not, then punish them with your cane."

"Yes, Reigner. I won't let anyone touch me. Since they are weak, the quantity mostly decides the outcome, right?"

"Right. This and the gun... But it's hard to get permission for one nowadays."

"I understand. It is way different compared to our world. The police and guns keep an eye on others!"

"More or less yes. Slowly, you will understand everything."

It was time to go to the bus! The bus requires some money, but Reigner cheated his way in using the item creation system. He created the tickets out of his mind as in the past, he was also using the bus frequently.

The system got tricked and everyone could sit well on the bus.

This is when things became a little uncomfortable for Sylvie.

"Um, Reigner... We are going to look out for people from the government, but don't comment when you see my house, okay? Promise me."

"I won't."

-

"..."

Reigner was currently at the end of the street. His eyes barely could see the small house as the two neighbors simply had bigger and more modern houses. As for Sylvie's house, it was small and as if on the verge of the crumbling.

The wooden, old and small house that would be more suitable on the city's outskirts or in some village than in the city. The fence was also small, any kid would be able to jump over it. The lack of any care and rust was not only scattered around the fence but also the house.

It was more like the family couldn't afford to mend all the damage that came over time.

The wooden house was also dark and as the more sun disappeared from the horizon, the darker it became around it.

Shouldn't they turn on the light already?

'No way...'

"I don't think anyone keeps an eye on my house... I at least haven't spotted anyone. What about you, Reigner?"

"I... I also haven't... Let me look more with my senses, then we will enter the house from behind, how about it?"

"Yes, if you are... fine with it."
