Six months passed.
Reigner's household had grown up abundantly whether it is his power or the overall power of his troops. First of all, Instructor Unni was doing a great job of teaching others. She still could be herself as Reigner no longer bullied her at all.
In fact, he had passed a strong weapon for her safety.
It was the same with Johne, who had changed from commoner to reliable general. He had learned how to fight well from special lessons from Instructor Unni, then both of them even ended up becoming a couple.
Then, Fourth Princess had shared the royal lessons she had learned in the past. Though she couldn't see, the necessary knowledge proved to be useful for Johne and he became the good general within Reigner's ranks after the lessons with the princess.
His weapon was also stronger than other generals of The Perante Kingdom possessed.
What stood out in Medusa Household were the weapons and overall equipment.
Reigner was using his system to modify the items provided by the kingdom. He wasn't creating, but modifying yet the effects of his power had given him the fame that shook the kingdom. The weapons of Reigner were first ample in the metal qi.
Way more than the common weapons could withstand.
He modified the structure of the weapon, forming something akin to veins or meridians within the weapons. The energy was flowing flawlessly, raising the overall performance. Furthermore, throughout the six months, Reigner also had close contact with Namia.
Her visits couldn't be more obvious, but Reigner benefited from her as well. First of all, he wasn't giving his weapons for free. Each noble household had gotten a few of his weapons to strengthen the fronts, but Rengal Household had discounts thanks to their direct lineage visiting Reigner.
Those discounts were given as Namia trained with Reigner.
Eventually, Reigner learned the sharpness of the metal aura. There were still limits to Reigner's sharp metal aura, but his snake's fangs had gotten sharper for real. The easiest way to achieve that was to translate the comprehension of sharp metal aura into the 'veins'.
He added new kind of veins around the sharp edges of each weapon, including his metal creation fangs, achieving good results.
"I still can not create metal sphere..."
[Your understanding is too low.]
The system message said so. His eyes were squinted from all the rage, but nothing could be done. He had to constantly fight with Namia to learn the sharp metal aura, and now, Reigner was trying to achieve something alone.
It was bound to be slow.
But Reigner was already accustomed to cursing as if it became the part of his nature.
"I should meet with Mells Household's head."
There were two reasons for Reigner to go for the metal sphere. The first was so that Paula can have her cane be a real weapon. The weapon that can make her royal blood useful and connect it to nature.
The whole area around her would be available for her if so. The lady has her other instincts increased by the lack of sight to the point where nature became her friend including the world. But she isn't gifted enough to perceive the surroundings.
With the metal sphere, she should be able to, however! Reigner was willing to sacrifice his time to help her, but then, he realized that the metal sphere is going to be useful for him as well. The snake coils around his body and moves willingly because Reigner's body exudes the metal aura.
Thanks to the origin.
So if there was metal sphere around him...
"Accompany me to Mells Household."
"Yes, Mr. Reigner."
The six months is not that big time, so Reigner was casually strengthening himself. It's not like the mass recruitment commoners would be sent to the battlefield in such a short amount of time as well.
No one was pressuring him, but there were a lot of expectations.
With Paula by his side, Reigner wanted her to open herself to the world. The fact that she has a connection to the world, can feel nature, and even learn about other lands through the animals is an amazing feat in itself.
Reigner believed that this is the key to her metal creation.
Something like a cute bird that is without limits thanks to her connection to nature. The royal blood within her bounds her to the metal aura, so Reigner could only think of the combination of such energies.
But more importantly, he wanted her to regain confidence.
Throughout the six months, the earthling could feel the care, support, and home-like feeling only thanks to Paula. So before he leaves, Reigner was keen on helping Paula become a strong and independent person without any 'failure' complex.
"Mells Household's metal creation can release mental attacks... Is it-"
Paula spoke about the noble household that is the mortal enemy of Nightmare. Her words became silenced by the roaring black monster within Reigner's body that was throwing his arms around as if sewering the descendants of this family.
[Khhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaa! Because of them! Because of them!]
Because of them, Nightmare could only feed on the prisoners located within Reigner's basements. The prisoners were common people who had resolved to the thievery and other crimes after losing their livelihood.
Such commoners couldn't satisfy Nightmare after a few meals.
"I had already some talks with the household's head... It was valuable and it felt like my research on metal sphere progressed a little... No need to try work alone in this case."
"I see. Good luck, Mr. Reigner. You can do it!"
Paula was not aware Reigner began his research for her, but she still supported him wholeheartedly. Both of them were moving forth with their arms crossed, looking like a good couple. The outsiders could see the 'failure' princess in a new light, with smiles decorating her adorable face.
Of course, Reigner was taking a walk, not using any carriage or so, all to enjoy the time with Paula. The sounds of the daily life of commoners and streets bustling with people could be only heard without any problems during such a walk.
The high-speed carriage would only jammed it.
Alongside the way, Reigner bought some local fast food and shared it with the princess. She held it with her small hands, taking bits by bits with curiosity plastered all over her face. Moments later, she exclaimed and burst out with...
"Yummy."
"Hah, it's not that bad."
"Yes!"
