Everyone searched for Oscar and Grievous all throughout town, but they couldn't find them. As they gave up and went back to the house the door opens and Oscar is there with a new outfit.
Oscar: Oh, I was wondering when you'd get back.
Everyone: Oscar!
They all tackle hug him. Ruby helps Oscar up as everyone shares a laugh.
Weiss: You had us worried sick!
Ruby: Are you okay?
Nora: What are you wearing?
Oscar: Uh...
Terra: Is something cooking?
Oscar: Oh, uh, yeah. I thought you guys would appreciate a hot meal after... spending all day looking for me and Grievous, apparently.
Jaune: It's my fault we were all out there in the first place. Oscar, I am so sorry for earlier. I was way, way out of line, and what I said--
Oscar: No, it's okay. These past few days, I've been scared of the same things you were. I don't know how much longer I'm going to be... me. But I did some thinking, and I do know that I want to do everything I can to help with whatever time I have left.
Jaune: Good. This team isn't the same without you, Oscar.
A smoke alarm goes off.
Oscar: The casserole!
Saphron: We're on it, chef.
Ruby: Wait were is Grievous?
Oscar: He went out back. He's probably thinking about how to get to Atlas.
Qrow starts walking up the stairs. And Ruby has a argument with Qrow of how that they still are not getting any closer to entering Atlas. Jaune, however, voices an idea to steal an Atlas airship to sneak into the Kingdom. Qrow immediately shoots the idea down, but Ruby wants to hear Jaune out, while also telling Qrow that they do not need his approval about their actions anymore.
After that Ruby walks outside to see Grievous standing and looking up to the stars.
Ruby: Hey....
General Grievous: ......
Ruby: Listen, I know that you can't talk right now, but I just want to know something. Did you follow Oscar all day to keep him safe?
Grievous looks down and he grips his hands.
Ruby: Heh, guess I'll take that as a yes.
Ruby walks up to Grievous from behind and she hugs him.
Ruby: I just want to say thank you. You were there when we needed help the most and you kept us safe. You maybe mean to us at times, but you also help us get stronger. I know you can't eat, but you can join us if you feel like it.
As Ruby enters back inside, Grievous feels strange once more. He feels pride, but there is another feeling, as he stands out there he turns around to see everyone enjoying some food and are laughing.
Grievous turns back to feel, for the first time happy. He looks up to the sky to see the stars.
General Grievous: Hehehe *Coughs* hehehe
