Beverly point of view
It has been a week since we defeated
Pennywise. We are the heroes of the city, but everyone else knows us as the losers. I went to Ben's basement but I only saw Bill. I could tell from his face that he is sad.
"Hello Bill" - I say to him. He only looked at me and nodded.
" Bill, it's something bothering you? Where are the boys?
" They went to get a soda," Bill said.
" Are you okay? I feel that something is wrong. "
" I just miss Georgie and returning to school it's not okay" *
I saw tears forming in his eyes, in his hazel eyes. I can't feel fine when he's like that. I leaned closer to him and I hugged him. He let his tears to slide down on his cheeks.
" It's my fault, Bev. If I were with him that day, he would be a-alive. "
" It's not your fault, Bill. You shouldn't blame yourself." I said to him, trying to cheer him up.
" Thank you, Bev"
I hugged him again, knowing that he needs another hug from his friend. By the time the other boys arrived with a box full of sodas.
" We are back" - Richie said. Richie is the funniest boy in our group. He knows how to make a sad situation a happy one.
" You okay, Bill? " asked Ben.
" Just mi-missing Georgie." Tomorrow my parents will commemorate him. I would like you to come"
" Of course," we said at once. This brought a smile on Bill's face. His smile is melting me.
" We are here for you, Bill. We are the losers"
Eddie said smiling. He finally escaped from wearing a cast on his arm. The sign he used to hide the "S" became our group sign.
I know that it's a short chapter but I will update everyday.
