In less than an hour, I was done with preparing myself, dressed casually in a tank top with an oversized denim jacket on a black short which stopped midway my thigh and my brown hair packed in a messy ponytail.
Since it's sunny outside, I grabbed my favorite black sunglasses which Molly gifted me years ago and a simple bag.
"Hey, we have arrived".
"Where are you girl?"
I read the text message from Tricia
"Almost there"I lied.
It took almost an hour for me convincing Dave to drive me to the mall. He kept on saying 'his boss instructed him not to take me anywhere' and 'he'll get fired if he does so'.
I kept informing him that if he doesn't take me there I'll still go anyways but he doesn't seem affected so I was consistent with the pleading for him to do so but this man's loyalty lies in my dad or maybe he loves his job so much.
