/Gogeta's POV//
My head was aching, I began to sit up and rub my head. I then realized I wasn't able to open my right eye, it was wrapped in some type of bandage.
Gogeta "Huh? What happened to my eye?"
Nightingale "You had an infection and surgery was required. Since you were out cold I couldn't wait for you to awaken so I took matters into my own hands."
Gogeta "Oh okay sur— Wait, WHAT?!"
I then grab the bandages and rip them off of my face. Then I began to rapidly blinking my right eye.
Gogeta "Huh? Wait I can see?! Thank God..."
Nightingale "It was a joke. Did you fall for it?"
Gogeta "Your jokes are always taken seriously!"
Nightingale "You need to "Lighten Up" as they say these days."
Then Altria then enters the room with Raikou and Kintoki.
Altria "You have some explaining to do."
Raikou "That's right! Mother is very upset at this outburst, even though you are at that age, you must learn self restraint!"
Kintoki "Actually I'm just here to see if your still kicking, and the Boss dragged me here too. But I'm kind of curious why."
Gogeta "I'm not saying anything. Not until I get the green flag from Gudako."
I then try to sit up from the bed but I feel something keeping me on the bed.
Gogeta "The heck is this?"
Nightingale "It's a mana chain, it keeps Servants in places and/or restricts the servant from receiving mana."
Gogeta "Ugh..."
Altria "Also a few of our Servants are out of commission from your little outburst. So I really don't think you have room for negotiations."
Gogeta "I want a lawyer!"
Altria "I am your lawyer."
Gogeta "I want a phone call!"
Altria "Denied."
Raikou "You can tell your mother anything, come on please tell us, what was your goal?"
Gogeta "Like I said, I can't tell you until I get the green flag from Master, I'm pretty sure someone like you would know the feeling, right?"
Altria "...Well he's not saying anything, we shall leave for now."
Raikou "Ehhh?! But I didn't get to hug him yet!"
Altria "You'll have time to hug him later, and give him head pats too."
Raikou "Alright...*Sniff*"
They all leave the room leaving only me, Nightingale and Ereshkigal as she was just standing in the doorway.
Gogeta "So you just gonna stand at the door and not even see if I'm alright? I am truly hurt."
Ereshkigal "I-I it's not like that! I just um...Wanted to thank you..."
Gogeta "Huh? About what?"
Ereshkigal "About the time when...Me and Master..."
Gogeta "Oh! You mean using her legs as a pillow!"
Ereshkigal "Q-Quiet! Anyway that all I wanted to say!"
She turned around and left the doorway. Then just leaving me and Nightingale.
Gogeta "So what happened to Ozymandias?"
Nightingale "He needed a lot o Magical energy to restore his wounds, but still he isn't at his best by a long shot."
Gogeta "And That Bastard Gilgamesh?"
Nightingale "He has a concussion. And his skull has been broken into multiple pieces."
Gogeta "No matter how you say it, I don't feel sorry one bit."
We then just sit there for a few minutes in awkward silence.
Gogeta "So are you gonna just stay here and watch over me like a hawk?"
Nightingale "Yes, Master told me to watch over you carefully."
You have got to be kidding me, there is no way for me to escape now, and even if I did manage to escape she would find me in an instant. Man this is a drag.
Gogeta "Ugggghhhh!"
Nightingale "Is there a problem?"
Gogeta "A problem? Yes, I'm bored! Is there nothing for me to do? I will take anything at the moment!"
Nightingale "Denied, patients are supposed to rest. But I've heard that sleeping passes the time, would you like me to inject a sedative?"
She then pulls out a needle and I instinctively hop out of the bed only to be pulled back by the Mana Chain.
Gogeta "Y-Yeah, how about we skip that solution."
Nightingale "Hm...alright then."
Then another few minutes go by.
Nightingale "So what happened at Solomon's Temple?"
Gogeta "Hm?"
Nightingale "When you stayed behind after everyone left."
Gogeta "Heh, aren't you a keen one."
Nightingale "..."
She looks at me with a blank stare and then reaches for the syringe.
Gogeta "Wait! Wait! Wait! Alright I'll tell you! Just remove your hand away from the needle."
She then retracts her arm from reaching the syringe and crossed her legs.
Nightingale "Well then?"
I gave a huge sigh and began to tell her what happened at the temple.
Nightingale "Well then, that was an interesting story. Seems like you were a detective, a decent one at that."
Gogeta "Also there was another thing."
Nightingale "Hm?"
Gogeta "I don't know if it was me, but I had a conversation with Fou."
Nightingale "Seems That your treatment isn't having much effect, I must do it manually."
She then reached over the syringe to grab a hammer.
Nightingale "Hold still, this will get rid of those concussed thoughts."
Gogeta "Stop you crazy lady! And I'm not insane! Fou was speaking to me!"
Nightingale "Then where is Fou? I want to see with my own eyes."
Gogeta "Well that's the thing, Fou isn't here with us anymore. He sacrificed his life force for me to give to someone."
Nightingale "Life Force? Then by the sound of that, Fou is no longer with us? In other words, dead?"
Gogeta "Yep, that's right."
Nightingale "So who is the energy for? This person must be extremely ill to have to rely on others life for to live."
Gogeta "No, they aren't ill, their lifespan is short. Because they aren't a naturally born human, they are a homunculus."
Nightingale "So Mash doesn't have that long to live?"
Gogeta "Talk about being discreet. You've known too?"
Nightingale "Yes, Doctor Romani told me, as well as Da Vinci."
Gogeta "Romani huh? He told you that?"
Nightingale "Well, he didn't tell me willingly. But as a nurse I have ways of getting people to talk."
Gogeta "You sound more like an interrogator."
Nightingale "Never mind that, so all you need is to see mash and give her Fou's life force?"
Gogeta "Pretty much."
Nightingale "Alright, Wait here."
Nightingale then leaves the room and about 15 minutes pass by and Nightingale comes back with Mash and Gudako.
Gogeta "Hm? Oh hey Master!"
Gudako "H-hey Gogeta..."
She didn't look me in the eye when she had spoke.
Gogeta "Hey Mash!"
Mash "H-hi..."
She was also looking around the room and avoiding eye contact, not like there's anything to look at in this room.
Gogeta "Wow tough crowd, but Mash do you know why I called for you?"
Mash "No, I was surprised when you called for me."
Gogeta "Well it's Because I know of your...condition."
Mash "Condition?"
Gudako "Condition?"
Gogeta "To put It simply, your lifespan."
Mash "..."
Gudako "???"
Mash "How much do you know?"
Gogeta "As much as to know you have a few days left."
Gudako "A few days left?"
I had to explain to her that Mash wasn't an ordinary person, more like she wasn't born normally.
Gudako "So she's an artificial life form?"
Gogeta "Yeah, to put is simply, her life has been wavering, and I've been able to sense it come smaller and smaller."
Gudako "Is...Is there anything we can do?"
Gogeta "Yes, I can give her Fou's life force."
Mash "Fou's life force?"
Gogeta "When I stayed back at the temple, Fou was there and was able to talk. He was a divine beast that told me to give you his life force."
Gudako "Divine..."
Mash "Well every one from Babylonia was saying he was a divine beast."
Gudako "Well can you give it to her?"
Gogeta "Sure I can!"
Gudako "Then What's the hold up!"
Gogeta "Well, I have two Conditions."
Gudako "Conditions?"
Nightingale "Do you think you're in a position to make negotiations?"
Gudako "Relax Nightingale, I want to hear his demands."
Gogeta "First, this chain has got to go."
Gudako "Alright."
The command seal then glows and vanishes, then the chains started to dissipate. I then got out of my bed and rubbed my stomach.
Gogeta "Whew! Feels good to be free."
Gudako "And what's your next demand?"
Gogeta "Oh right!"
I then get down on one knee and has my head tilted towards the ground.
Gudako "Wha—?"
Nightingale "Hm?"
Gogeta "I want you to forgive me about my outburst, I had a mission that I thought was right to carry out but was a wrong one. I also ended up ignoring you and your own choices."
Gudako "...Pft...Hahaha!"
Gogeta "Hm?"
I then tilt my head up to look at her and she was laughing.
Gudako "Y-you thought I was mad at you? Hahaha!"
I was still on the ground looking confused.
Gudako "I'm not upset at you! I mean you thought that it was the right thing to do. And it probably was but I guess I let my emotions take the lead on it. Everyone makes mistakes am I right?"
She reaches her hand out to me and helps me up.
Gudako "So can you give the life force to Mash already?"
Gogeta "Heh, alright, alright."
I reached out my hand and a blue glowing energy ball came out of my hands, but the energy ball had no consistent form. It was like gelatin swaying.
Gogeta "Alright Mash you ready?"
Mash "I-I guess so..."
I then point my finger at Mash and once I did the ball flew at Mash's body and went inside her chest. Then for a brief second the room was filled with light. Then after the light died down.
Gudako "Do you feel any different Mash?"
Mash "Yes! I feel a lot better Senpai!"
Gudako then runs over to hug Mash.
Gogeta "Fou said that she should live an average life up to about 60 to 70 years."
Gudako "Thank you so much Gogeta!"
She ran to hug me and I caught her in my arms.
Gogeta "It was no big deal."
I then let her go and her and Mash then leave the room chatting with high energy.
Gogeta "To be young huh?"
Nightingale "...It seems that you no longer need caring for."
Gogeta "Wait, does that mean I can leave?"
Nightingale "Yes, unless you need more treat—."
Gogeta "Yeah Nope later!"
I then run out of the room laughing.
Gogeta "Hm, my body is already feeling a little better, but I'll eat a senzu bean just in case."
I reached into my pouch and grab a senzu bean and eat it.
Gogeta "Whew That hits the spot! I wonder why I haven't run out of these yet, it seems that they are endless. Well guess it's time for me to see Ozy."
