Was it real? Or was it all just another dream, the kind that feels so real yet so far away. The kind of dream that leaves you so desperate as you can never have what it's giving you.
Was that really her mother? Nefertari wondered as she rested her head on the pillow staring up at the dark ceiling. When she said that she liked the rain, she left out that she hates how the cloudy sky makes everything look gloomy and sad.
Or… was it the company that made the dancing in the rain enjoyable?
She sighed and covered her face with the blanket, trying to block away all those thoughts. Though, she has got to admit that she liked that feeling of safety and security in her mother's hold. She wasn't to believe that it was real.
"This is the 10th time already," a groan came from the couch that was in the middle of the room. Nefertari pulled back the covers and narrowed her eyes wondering if she was hearing things.
