" How are the patients, Primus?" Nura ask.
"Same as yesterday Boss. Could use some more chakra mayors and regular food, but the medical attention is keeping them alive. I don't think they'll get better any time soon though, it'll take a few weeks at least." Primus answers, his metal hood making an audible 'click' as he moves his head.
" Do the Wood Village have any supplies? " Nura ask.
" Not much, they're focused on rebuilding their village and dealing with the traitor Kalion. However, they said if we need anything just ask."
"In that case, we'll take some supplies, don't want to be too greedy though, I'll send some guys... "Nura thinks for a second. " I'll send the Red Blades.
"Why can't we just go?" You ask.
"I thought you would want us to wait until we're properly healed," says Nura.
"Yea, but we ARE clones."
"Yeah..." Nura thinks for a moment. "Yeah, but I don't know if we should go out. Our clones are strong, but not that strong. The more of us there are, the further our strength gets divided. It's not ideal."
You remind Nura that clones have the same amount of strength as the original possesses at the time they're created.
"This does not include the mind, right?" You insist.
"I suppose," she says. "But I still don't think it's worth sending any of us out right now."
Durge comes in the room, overhearing the conversation.
"You were saying?" Durge asks."
"I don't believe we're healed enough to make much of a difference in a fight", says Nura.
"You have very powerful clones that you can talk to them subconsciously. That's amazing."
Durge is built like a walking human battleship. He's simple-minded, which makes him reliable on the battlefield. However, he is equally adept at following orders in the typical soldier sense or disregarding them to act on his own initiative if required. He's specialized in using two weapons: a massive two-handed sword that's difficult to lift into the air, and a siege breaker, a bar covered with sharp metal sticking out at different angles. When used properly, the former can smash through even the heaviest of armor and either kill or incapacitate an enemy instantly. The latter can pierce the strongest of armor and break through shields.
" But why are we sending the Red Blades," Durge asks, pointing with the siege breaker.
"We're sending them to Wood Village to do their job and ask for some supplies. Medicine, food, whatever they can spare according to Primus," says Nura.
"Durge explains to me why you hate the Red Blades," Primus said meekly as if avoiding an argument.
"Why am I punished? Do you not bring up Klint?" Durge explains.
"I was trying to do you a favor!!" Primus says loudly.
Nura gets up from her seat and leaves the room, as the two men begin arguing.
"Wasn't Durge a member of the Red Blades?"
You ask Nura. "Sort of," she says, "After the split in the Velane Family, his path and Primus' path split. Primus joined the League, and he became an independent with stakes in the Red Stakes. But before that, yeah. They were both involved."
You and Nura walk into the Red Blades Sanctuary called "The Fort". It was appropriately named: It looked like a barracks square, with dozens of heavy infantry pacing around preparing their weapons or doing practice fighting. They train with weapons just like everyone else does, but they usually have brigandine armor and partial helmets. At the corners of the yard stand 4 fully-armored elite guards with 2-handed greatswords at the ready who would easily top 7 feet.
Nura approaches the guards, as one addresses you.
"You need to register for access to The Fort".
Nura shows her teeth and asks "Does anyone else get to enjoy your company?" To which the guard responds by laughing and opening the gate. Nura gives a look of mild annoyance before walking into The Fort proper. Nura heads to the center where a gorgeous purple palace has been for years. It looks like an old greek palace, with large marble turning into solid glass. Large golden statues stand at every corner of the building, depicting great heroes of the Red Blades.
A set of twins both stand at the entrance, making sure that the only people entering are elite members.
Nura approaches them. "Yelroe! Felroe! How you two been?"
The twins turn around and notice Nura. They show obvious signs of shock. Eventually one of them speaks up. "Nura? Is that you?"
"Yeah, it's me!" Nura says, smiling ear to ear.
"What rank are you two now?" Nura asked the twins.
"Primus promoted us to Department Heads. We're in charge of this Fort, now that he's in charge of the League", says Yelroe.
"That's wonderful! Y'all certainly smart enough to do it!" Nura exclaims.
"Glad you think so. You have been doing well on your missions, huh?" Yelroe says.
"Yeah, I guess. Now that I think of it, the only thing that's remarkable is the things I failed at."
The twins paused for a moment, confused.
"What do you need from the Red Blades, Nura?" Yelroe asked.
"I want to enlist the Red Blades to help me with supplies from the Wood Village."
The twins begin talking amongst each other in hushed tones, eventually agreeing on something. "Alright," Says Felroe. "We should be able to help you."
Yelroe begins to say something when their Captain walks outside from the palace to greet the three of you. He is a large bear of a man with curly hair and a bushy beard. His armor is very fine gold plated, and his eyes have a certain glint to them.
He bends down to hug Nura, who embraces him back "How goes your mission, Nura?"
"The mission went fine Erios, but that's no thanks to the Red Blades! Almost no thanks to them." She said in a very amusing way.
"Is that so Ms. Nura?" Erios says with a big grin but glances pass Nura and look me in the eyes. "And who are you?"
To Nura, you ask "How can Erios sense me?"
"Erios level of jutsu and magic is very powerful. When he extends that power to feel the psychic wavelength of people, it was too much for you", Nura explains. I don't think she recognizes what I meant. How is your chakra so powerful where I'm somewhat being manifested?
You nod your head slowly. "I've met him now, that's good enough. We should head off to somewhere else."
Eros laughs and says "I will send one of the twins to Wood Village to get you supplies. They should be back by sundown."
Yelroe says "Sorry Nura, duty calls." as the Twins split up with one going into the palace and the other following Nura. Felroe leaves the city and is off to Wood Village.
You and Nura head back home to meditate and train.
Nura summons you and asks, "Can you also see into my dreams?"
"Probably. Do you want me to?"
Nura thinks for a while and eventually decides
"Yes."
