Chapter 4 - 4

After some time spent resting and answering questions like why the hell I had a musket? They didn't believe me that it was unbreakable aside from Kohta. Plus after all my upgrades it was modified as shit to be a very deadly sniper. The side arm was my first ever recreation of a modern firearm, almost seven? hundred years ago. I had to delve into a lot of God damned mythology and witchcraft to enchant it to be indestructible. During that process I also had to triple layer it to use both physical ammo and spiritual energy as ammunition. Along with being unable to ever jam so when I got the damned thing to WORK and not EXPLODE I could kill lesser spirits with just it alone.

Though Shizuka asked where Shido was since she and the staff knew I asked for him to meet me. So since I already explained I can do witchcraft without anyone but Saya or Kohta believing me. I pulled his corpse from my bag as they would think I just enchanted it to be a bag of holding. Instead of it being a multidimensional bag from an omnipotent being that's been on my person for decades now. As soon as Shido's lifeless body hit the ground I just kicked it.

"I knew shit was already horrible outside the school due to recon. The snake was too much of a risk to let live so I just removed him from the survivor and gene pool. Destroyed his soul as well and watched him die as it crumbled while crouching on him as my blade went through the center of his chest. All after jumping on him from above and shoving my blade downwards into him."

Rei just looked absolutely gleeful at the dead man being dead. Before anyone could touch his corpse though, his corpse just vanished as I stored it once more into my bag as I didn't need to touch anything to store it. A few of the kids looked upset at my heartless actions against the man while Shizuka simply smiled. No judgment to be found in her eyes. Which is very much a given as she hated the man due to his attempts at sexual harassment. Snake never got in trouble because he smoothly talked or blackmailed his way out. Much like how his brother, who I murdered during a contract for shooting me, used to do.

Spinning one of the only club bus keys on my fingers I decided to pull my side arm out. Unloading the actual bullets and closing the cylinder, leaving the room first after deciding to head out. My gun pointed forward as I led the way to the bus since I can just mow everything down safely. My rings ablaze with each shot taken. With bodies hitting the ground or dusting due to some shots, I burnt away the bodies that were around me with witchcraft.

The spell turns the corpses to dust instantly with each cast of it, snakes of flames sustained by spiritual energy devouring them whole. The kids, this included Shizuka given my age, walking behind me and picking off stragglers that came from elsewhere. I could feel them looking at me like I was some sort of mystical animal. Which to them may be so, but to me this is normal after a long time of being alive and nearly dying so many times. Especially since I've had time to grow my current skills, like my mistake to the point it's dangerous if I lightly exhale.

As soon as I stepped outside from the still burning gymnasium a flaming Zombie Scourge burst out. I could tell it was an abomination that shouldn't exist immediately. Simply because the beast was soulless yet very much alive as an undead. There's only one main thing that can make Scourges and my previous flames should've prevented its creation. Yet it hadn't. All because of one possibility I could think of.

Negativity of the dead and remnants of spiritual energy. Starting due to the flames having melded a few of the corpses together, and any lingering negativity being enough to birth it. Then everything just snowballed with each death and whatever is reviving the dead accumulating into one "brain". Although my immolation shots should've prevented it due to banishing their souls, I didn't account for mutations from it.

"Stubborn zombie virus piece of shit… run to the bus and get ready to floor it. I'm going to test something out on the big defective beast."

The Zombie Scourge looks me dead in the eyes, its body flaking with ash as fire burns underneath its burning flesh. Without much preamble I moved, my breath I usually held, much like Devas my predecessor does, or else it'd end poorly for regular people. As unlike the Sun Breathing which would heat the surroundings up through the body. My Moon Breathing would instead freeze everything instantly due to me having decades to grow it unlike Devas when I last checked. But Breathe Techniques rapidly evolve when in a fight, so he probably wasn't far behind me even with our differences.

And I meant it when I said things would freeze instantly. As soon as I exhaled and breathed in the air, snowflakes formed as the temperature became subzero instantly. The ground and surroundings flash frozen instantly. My body which was once the average look for most Americans had become extremely fit and lean over my new life. That even without using the energy I had been granted my feet still cracked the ground. The Zombie Scourge was startled as I was instantly in its face, side arm firing point blank.

The shot caused the variant undead to stumble backwards, ice and frost erupting from the shot. My technique revolved mostly around guns instead of swords. Making each shot I took when seriously trying to kill something dangerous, I can make ice erupt from the body if I do so much as graze something. The ice and frost erupting from the Scourges head made half explode from the extreme reaction of heat to cold. That didn't take the beast out of the fight but it did expose its new brain of melted flesh, blood, and actual brains.

"RRRRAAAAWGH!"

Ducking under a swing clawed limb as the Scourge screams a sign of it calling for help and strengthening allies. I decided to get this over with given I could hear the undead in the school grow agitated and some starting to RUN.

"Three Thousand Worlds: Waning Blizzard."

A thousand rifles pointed at the Scourge which slowed in my eyes, the remaining two thousand points at the school. Pointing at the Scourge I fired my musket as it swapped with my sidearms. The bullet strikes the variant in the chest as it lunges at me ever so slowly. A flower made of ice erupts from the wound and blooms with frozen blood filling small veins in it. Then Three Thousand Worlds fired.

The Scourge was turned into a frozen statue that shattered upon hitting the ground. From the school entrance the undead just breaching the entrance or windows were instantly frozen solid. Some zombies wearing track and field uniforms that came sprinting shattered upon contact. Half of the school freezing solid with each shot pelting it. The last shot shattered it, causing half of the school to explode into chunks of solid ice that had replaced everything frozen.

[Overkill is the way! +600 SP]

Snorting at that I chuckled when Pete sent a middle finger saying that was unwarranted abuse. Then everything essentially went to shit in a way as a new can of problems had essentially opened up. The ice from the Scourge Variant disappeared when spiritual jaws exploded from my body and ate them all. My Unique trait triggered at that moment once the jaws disappeared.

[Chimera Verse: Divine Anthemea Executioner]

"Shit… But also damn good I get to live out a dream. Just why is something related to my monster obsession just now doing anything? I've interacted with divine stuff before..."

Chuckling at the oddity of the situation I wasn't ready for the next bit.

[Divine Anthemea B+ -> A-]

At that my chuckling stopped as that was not a good thing in this world given God's can't do much here, but it was good in the long run. As if something had woken up briefly I felt the energy I had been so accustomed to in this world react, becoming more smooth and focused, before seemingly going back to sleep. Divine Anthemea also never had a rank, however, now it did and it was oddly high even though I've never PERMANENTLY KILLED a God yet. Which I think my predecessor's also didn't have a rank or if it did it wasn't high enough or triggered yet.

The Chimera Verse thing also was very glaringly obvious to me, as I was the one who essentially wrote the things my unique trait was about. So seeing "Divine Anthemea Executioner" means it could only be that one. He was the only Chimera I wrote that straight up hated anything divine, he would go as far as to hunt a God's child to kill them just to spite the Gods. Hades didn't miss the look on my face at the mention of that Chimera either.

[NightFather: Your expression tells me you know the correlation to that message and the sudden jump of your Anti-God trait. What is it that you worry about the two messages from our ever mysterious Stream?]

"Ahah… well the best way to just say this is that, it seems the trait that never bothered doing anything reacted finally, and I'm both glad yet disturbed by that. Now what's it related to is something I wrote full of monsters, all Chimera's, while back home in my world. Out of a hundred fifty plus of those monsters, it picked Lo'Kia. That one, if they see a God or anything related to one with Divine energy, will go for the kill or very happily destroy a world just to do so. While all the Chimera's I wrote hate the God's due to their lore tie, or just hate them to hate, he does it with zeal and unending hatred.

Lo'Kia has the sole purpose and the drive to murder all the Gods and destroy anything related to them. My own animosity for God's must've been high also that as soon as he was 'unlocked' from my trait it just spiked suddenly. So now Divine Anthemea has a visible rank when I've never killed a single God or anything tied to them. Which is both a good and bad thing in the short and long run for me as you really wouldn't believe how much Gods fuck around or fuck up in the multiverse."

[NightFather: I have a vague idea about the extent if any version of my golden dicked brother is involved… just goodie… you are going to give a God a heart attack or instantly smited just staring at them if you meet them in the flesh.

ZSpiderman: Wait, you said you wrote about the things your third trait is related to so that means they're real in the multiverse somewhere…. Does that mean that embarrassing story I wrote as a kid is actually real?.... Oh God please tell me it isn't Aunt May will fucking kill me, AGAIN!. I don't even want to see it actually exist on the Stream! If the Stream ever gives you a mission involving Unicorns, Cupcakes, and Milfs DON'T accept it… I want my dark history to stay buried instead of being real…

BusterThug: Huh so Tifa's novels are actually real… those will be cursed to ever see in actuality… so many horrific depictions of "Fabio Moogle" becoming reality….

PrimalHunter: Huh does that mean I could actually watch you ruin Frozen or murder Jafar from Aladdin?

ShyGuitarist: …. Please don't….

MarvelousMerlin: Ah so you're currently experiencing something like my universe and the Root, different timelines and different possibilities. That's amusing and also mildly annoying as you don't have the Counter Force restraining you…

WayneButler: Good evening, I would ask if any of you sirs or madams had misplaced this cell phone. However, I see that this is likely not the case as I don't recognize where you are from Master Carter, nor do I recognize any of the others, aside from Spiderman due to Master Waynes old collection of Marvel Comic books. So Would any of you be so kind as to explain why this phone has ended up in my possession while I make Master Wayne his three a.m. coffee after returning to the Batcave?

DirectionlessSwords: I have zero clue what this thing is but it gave me a very vocal map to find my crew… Just what the fuck is wrong with you weirdo's and why is that kid dealing with zombies?]

"No fucking shit… Its Alfred Pennysworth… the fucking legend was invited to the stream? HELL YEAH I GOT ALFRED! SUCK IT DEVAS WHEREVER YOU ARE IN THE MULTIVERSE! Oh hey its Zoro… not as impressive as Alfred but if the stream actually managed to help you with directions then uh… You're welcome?"

Any further talk with the chat was cut off when a bus pulled up next to me and before the doors could open up I just stuck my hand on a window. The window instantly froze over showing everyone that I wasn't good to be around physically so I just climbed on top of the bus and sat there as ice froze me to the roof. Once on the roof whoever was driving the bus wasted no time and just floored it, crushing underneath the wheels and breaking down the school gates while making a sharp turn. Zombies were sent flying around the bus when hit as we sped off down the street and into the city. Kohta opened the bus hatch to the roof and asked me a question that was very… humorous as the teen was panting with stars in his eyes.

"Sir! Can you teach me how to do your gun magic?! I want to summon guns like you did and destroy everything in my path!"

"Sure kid… Just you need to learn to BREATHE, workout, and use Spiritual Energy to truly use Banisher weapons and techniques. Think you'll manage?"

"Yes sir! I'm willing to even give my life to learn how to create guns like that!"
