Violet's POV
"When are you leaving?" I asked Maverick and he caressed my face before he answered my question.
"My grandmother will arrive, anytime soon, and I can't say no if she will ask me to come with her." He said, and I felt so sad, I can't imagine my life without him by my side, and I realized I want to come with him, all I need is a certainty that my family will not have a hard life after I leave them.
"If I come with you, what will happen to my family?" I asked, and I saw his face lights up.
