Chapter 18 – Two Fingers (1)

There were two voices fighting inside Grandpa's mind. In the end, he chose to believe Old Blindman. Right now, he was like an arrow nocked and ready to shoot too.

Clenching his jaw, he flipped the coffin cover to the ground. Using the moonlight, he saw that there was a life-like female corpse inside the coffin. Her figure and features were beautiful. More importantly, her skin was as white as snow and seemed soft and delicate.

Even though he knew it was a female corpse, Grandpa who'd never seen a woman's body before felt blood pool down there.

This beautiful female corpse actually turned Grandpa on. He knew that it definitely wasn't the time for this though. This strange coffin had been under the old well for who knew how many years. Now that it was opened, the corpse inside still looked so alive. This was creepy in itself.

"Immortal, come look!" As soon as Grandpa said that, he remembered that Old Blindman couldn't see. He quickly said, "Old sir, there's a woman in the coffin. She's not wearing clothes and looks quite pretty."

"Then that's right." Old Blindman nodded. He formed a circle with a rope and handed it to Grandpa, saying, "Put it over her neck and carry her on your back."

"Why?" Grandpa shuddered in fear.

The things that Old Blindman wanted him to do kept getting weirder. No matter how much Grandpa trusted him, they'd only met this once. Now, he had to tie rope around a female corpse's neck and carry it. Grandpa was scared, but he also couldn't bear it. After all, this was such a pretty woman. He would be destroying her by putting the rope over her neck.

"Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to you," Old Blindman said. "I know you're curious about what I'm doing. If you finish this task, not only will I tell you the reason, I'll even let you stay with me."

This was Old Blindman's bait. To Grandpa, this bait was definitely tempting. Clenching his jaw, he said to the female corpse, "Miss, I'm sorry."

He looped the rope around the corpse's neck. The corpse's skin was cold, but when he touched it, he still couldn't help but get feelings. He was already sweating from excitement when he finished tying the rope. Turning, he pulled the corpse onto his back. He was afraid that the rope would break her neck, so he moved gently.

Around a minute later, he finally pulled the corpse onto his back. He felt his shoulders weigh down. The corpse's head rested against his shoulder due to the movement. Then he felt coolness in his ear as if someone blew in it. He turned and saw that the corpse's mouth was slightly open. That breath had come from the corpse.

This breath blew away all the improper thoughts that Grandpa had. He was instantly covered in goosebumps from nerves and fear. "Immortal," he immediately asked Old Blindman. "What should I do now?"

"Squeeze her mouth and take a pearl out," Old Blindman said.

Since he was already at this step, Grandpa just wanted to hurry up and finish. He immediately grabbed the corpse's cheek. Her mouth opened from the squeeze and Grandpa saw a translucent pearl on her tongue. It shimmered in the night. He freed one hand and used two fingers to extract the pearl.

Without caring about the luster, Grandpa hurriedly gave it to Old Blindman. "Immortal, this is the pearl you wanted."

As soon as he said that, he heard rustles by his ears. He turned involuntarily and almost lost his mind in fear. That beautiful female corpse had suddenly turned menacing. Her eyes were open and the empty sockets stared at Grandpa as if in hatred!

Grandpa thought that he'd caused this sudden change because he'd taken out the pearl, so he reflexively wanted to shove the pearl back into her mouth.

Just then Old Blindman said, "The second thing I want you to do is stuff two of your fingers into her mouth."

"What?!" Grandpa was completely shocked. He stared at Old Blindman in disbelief. It felt like thousands of horses were galloping in his heart.

Now, he was even furious. He felt that the Old Blindman that he'd viewed as a god was a demon. The man must be trying to kill him!
