Altamash's POV
Without waiting for an answer from her, she dragged me into the garden, the cold air wrapping around us like a cocoon. Closing the door behind her, she turned to face me, abruptly letting go of my hand and stepping away. The soft breeze whipped Gauhar's copper brown hair across her face, her eyes glinting in the soft moonlight as she looked up at me.
"She cannot stay here." I said this before she could say anything, making sure that my tone left no room for any argument.
But Gauhar was never one to back down, and no matter how unwavering my tone was, she would definitely not agree to it without a fight. She had her hands folded across her chest as she watched me, her stance clearly indicating that she was not ready to back down one bit.
