Altamash's POV
"Lawyer Quadri, I think I messed up again."
"You did what, Jonathan?" My voice was slow and measured as I forced myself to remain calm. Sometimes I wish I hadn't ever accepted Sahil Miyaji's offer of becoming a director for Fairfax and Co.; not only would I not have had the chance of hiring three idiots as my interns, but I would also not have had to get married to Gauhar to placate the man.
The consequences of my stupid decision were catching up to me, forcing me to gulp down my third consecutive cup of coffee. I was never a coffee man; in fact, I hated the beverage with a vengeance, but recent circumstances have forced me to discover that when faced with a brain splitting headache, caffeine worked as a great remedy.
"I messed up, sir." With my intern's sheepish voice, it took all my patience to stop myself from hurling the phone across the room.
