"And my boarding pass explicitly states that this set is mine." He added pulling out the crumpled piece of paper from his pocket.
"It does?" I raised my eyebrows at him as he handed his ticket over to me. As my eyes glossed over the numbers on the boarding pass he handed over to me, I realised that I was indeed acting irrationally. White hot shame washed over me as I realised that I had inconvenienced this kind man who put up with my rudeness patiently while I threw a fit to get my way.
Way to bloody go.
"Thank you for putting up with me." I trained my eyes towards my hands that are placed on my lap, hoping that he could detect the sincerity in my voice. "I can't imagine how annoying I must have been. If I were in your place, I would have thrust the boarding pass in my face instead of putting up with my tantrum."
