The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground. The night sky was aglow with bright city lights. Austin, Drew, Jasper dwelled in the hall waiting for Devin to turn up.
"We are leaving for Citadel hotel," Devin announced strolling into the hall.
"Why?" Austin asked. "We have already found_"
"Where is Kyle?" He interrupted.
"She is not in the home." Austin pressed his lips to curb the outrage burning inside him. He has been calling her for a long time but neither his calls are picked up nor he received any response from her.
"Drew, stay in the house with her." Turning towards him, Devin added. "She is alone and_"
"No!" He instantly cut back. "You still want to keep me in the dark. Are you my friend?"
"Hey! Monkey fellow. I have been calling you since yesterday. But you were busy with your new-found sister." Jasper clarified his misunderstanding.
