Just when Devin got up to leave for the citadel hotel, a hand stretched out gripping the edge of his shirt tightly.
"Don't leave me." Leena pleaded in a whisper. She rapidly unfastened her eyes and reached for his hand when she realized she lost the affection and warmth of her comforter. The word clinginess was not in her dictionary but the longing to have him by her side has intensified today.
"I will be back soon." He sat at the edge of the bed and gently grabbed her fragile fingers to soothe her worries "Now now...smile..your frown lines are getting visible...don't you want to look beautiful for the photos at the wedding?"
"I do face yoga every day, idiot. How could I get frown lines?" Leena yelled snatching his mobile to check the lines on her face. Liar! I don't even see one.
