The rest of the way home didn't change anything else as Max and Kaia continued to listen in on the conversation. She just listed all those out and her session ended and just as Faith predicted, she gave more money to the woman.
The woman, pretending to not accept it, did in the end, reluctantly.
Dor tried to take Carlotta straight to her room but she refused.
"You should rest, Cati," he said softly to her as some of the maids came to try and help them. Ella looked at them with concern but didn't say anything.
"The last thing I want to be is alone." She said, turning to them. "Don't you dare keep anything from me either."
Everyone looked at her with an exasperated sigh but they just went with it in the end.
Dor placed Carlotta on the couch, the maids bringing a blanket for her as they gathered around each other to try and talk.
