Y/n POV
"Your menu miss, let me know when you're ready to order." I thank the waiter as I decide to peruse the menu, waiting for Felix to arrive. He said he might be a little late earlier so I'm not too worried. As minutes turn into almost two hours I start to believe I've been stood up…again. I sigh as I finish my appetizer suddenly not so hungry anymore. "Will you be wanting the check?" I nod sighing, I can't believe he's done it once again.
I get back to my apartment to see if he's tried to contact me at all…my phone is as dry as the Sahara desert. I start changing out of my nice clothes and into something more comfortable. I feel my phone vibrate and I see a text from Felix. "Hey love I'm sorry, I can't make it tonight. Rain check?" I roll my eyes thinking that that's the same thing he texted me the last three date nights. I could've figured that out when you stood me up again at the restaurant. I'm not interested in scheduling any more dates.
I grab my remote before hopping in my bed. I turn on the TV and bring up Netflix. Boys Over Flowers' theme song rings out in my bedroom and I sigh in content. My phone vibrates again but I ignore it. It vibrates a few more times before I just put it on do not disturb.

I check the time on my phone to see it's 2 am and I have about 10 new messages. 5 from my boyfriend, 2 from my best friend, and 3 from his best friend. I shrug feeling it's in my best interest to finish working on my English paper that's due when I arrive in class at 11 am. I just have to finish my concluding paragraph and I'm set. Just when I finish my last sentence I see my computer flash a FaceTime notification. I roll my eyes and I close my MacBook.
~
I arrive to class on time with my favorite Starbucks drink in hand and my English paper completed. I sit in my normal seat next to my best friend Hyunjin. "Did you finish your paper or did you forget?" I show him my masterpiece and he nods. "How did I know you finished it Miss A+ student. I assume that's why you didn't see my text messages." I nod sipping my drink. "Sorry about that…anything important?" He shakes his head. "Nah don't worry about it. Oh there goes your lover boy."
I turn to see a tired looking Felix walk in with Chris taking their seats just as the professor gets the classes attention. Class was smooth and slightly boring as usual but all English classes are. After class I hand in my paper and I walk out with Hyunjin by my side. "You have art class next right? Do you want to get lunch before or after?" I shrug throwing my empty cup in the trash bin by the exit. "Mmm maybe afterwards? I'm slightly full on coffee. I'll call you after class okay?" We part ways because his next class is in the opposite direction.
"Y/n wait up please!" I see Felix calling after me and I roll my eyes but I stop walking allowing him to catch up. "Could you make it quick? I have to get to class on time." He starts walking beside me. "I'm really sorry about last night…and the other nights I stood you up. I got really worried when you said that you don't want to schedule anymore dates with me." I laugh unamused. "Well not really after being stood up for the third time. You don't even give a reason either, just 'rain check' and I get if you don't want to go out with me. I won't waste your time...anyways I gotta go."
~
I walk out my art class to be greeted with Felix. "Y/n you're done for the day right? Let me take you out." I take out my phone bringing up Hyunjin's contact. "I have plans already sorry." I keep walking but he follows behind me as I text Hyunjin that I'm ready to go. "Felix why are you following me? Don't you have somewhere else to be?" He sighs and grabs my wrist making me halt. "I don't like that you're mad at me, I want to make it up to you." I purse my lips and detach myself from him. "Tell me the reason why you stood me up, I'm sure you have a good reason."
He scratches the back of his neck. "Honestly I've just been preparing for the showcase this weekend and by the time I get home I am so tired I pass out on my bed. How I do in the showcase determines if I get this internship I really need." My face softens and I sigh. "Why didn't you just tell me that? That's a valid reason not to go on dates until afterwards." He shrugs and rubs a hand threw his hair. "I don't know, I'm still getting used to this dating thing. You're my first serious relationship and I don't want to mess things up."
"Well don't worry about me for now, focus on the showcase. We'll go on a date afterwards but I gotta go. I don't want to keep Hyunjin waiting too long or he'll start blowing up my phone." He chuckles softly and brings me in for a hug. "You're the best girlfriend Y/n, alright don't keep him waiting." Before I run off I peck his cheek leaving a blushing freckled boy behind.
"Did you meet up with Felix?" Hyunjin climbs in the passenger seat in my car. "Yeah I did, so where are we eating?" He shrugs putting his phone in his pocket taking mine and selecting the playlist. "What about that new ramen shop? I heard it's really good." "Sounds good to me, let's stop by Starbucks afterwards because I want to try that new refresher."
