Chapter 6 - Going to the Frontlines

Sam continued training in this room until it was time for him to go.

He left the inn and came back to testing area, and saw the elderly man who was supervising the test.

He did not say much and told him to wait for the other to come. Sam was sent to sit inside carriage that would blown apart if the wind was bit faster.

Sitting inside Sam Sam did nothing much and just waited for awhile, 2 complete hours passed before other guys were here.

The elder came back and told them that this carriage would take them to the frontlines and once the reached the gate, they needed to show their badges in order to enter the base camp of the army, where they trained newly arrived soldiers before sending them to battle.

Sam nodded before going back to just staring blankly towards the wooden wall in front of him.

As soon as the carriage started, he was being sent up and down, the carriage was moving way to fast for the road, it was hitting all the rocks causing it to jump up and down.

While the journey towards the base camp continued, the 4 newly recruited soldiers asses were being beaten by the surface they were sitting.

They did not take anytime to rest and had travelled for over 30 hours.

But that soon stopped when suddenly the surrounding air was filled with the smell of blood.

The carriage did not stop, as the person controlling two horses was just a normal human being, pulling a unique breed of horses, which did not need to rest or eat for 1 week.

These Horses had a special bloodline which was given to them through a bloodline stone.

The original breeder (don't know the name for the profession) that bred these horses, was trying to open up a market for new type horse that required less care but did more for its owner.

And the way he achieved this was by experimenting on horses by feeding them bloodline awakening stones.

These stones allowed the one that ate it to awaken a bloodline, but these stones were not common at all.

The cost of one bloodline stone would be the same as buying the whole of Lin family.

But what shocked everybody when the process how this new species of horse was developed was the fact that in order to acquire the desired trait for the horse, the breeder used over 1000 bloodline stones.

And once he bred the new species, he made it to reproduced with two other females, and once they gave birth, he fed the horses over 100 bloodline awakening stones in order to make their bloodline as pure as possible, but it wasn't as easy as it seemed to breed, the new species needed special conditions in order to breed.

And once that was achieved, he made offsprings of the new specie to mate with their half sibling.

And after 100 years he had over hundred thousand of these horses, and what made them even better than other horses that these new species had the ability to regenerate and live for over 150 years.

200 years passed and now these horses were owned by royals, wealthy families and specially the army.

The population of the horses crossed over 10 billion, and the price for one of them was 100 medium spirit stones.

And in order to get one of these horses they needed to buy it from the breeder, he had made the biggest company in this entire continent, nobody could match his wealth.

(For those are thinking why am I wasting words on a random side story, well it's so if any introduce Bloodline Awakening drowns, and now you guys can predict the rest on what I'm gonna do with them).

The carriage continued travelling but in the next instant, a sharp wind blew over the carriage and suddenly the whole carriage was in pieces, the horse pulling the carriage were chopped ready to be cooked and the carriage itself was flying through the air until gravity pulled it down and it fell down into hundreds of pieces.

Sam was already prepared to be attacked but he didn't expect to be attack by such an overwhelming attack.

He was a step into the grave but he felt his body being lifted up, he could not keep himself from passing out front eh unbearable pain coming from all over his body.

It took a long time before Sam woke but when he opened his eyes he was in an unknown place, covered in darkness, he could not even see his own hand but felt like there was other stuff on top of him, he pushed the stuff off of himself and tried to stand up, but he felt his legs not working.

Suddenly his hurt took hit as Sam thought he has been crippled, he tried to touch the bottom half of his body, when he did he felt that he grabbing two legs with his hand but his bottom half didn't feel anything.

He hurriedly asked the system, "what going on, why can't I feel the bottom half of my body?"

[Host's spine has been broken, which has severed your connection with the bottom half of your body]

"What, can you heal it?"

[No]

When he heard the system, his heart dropped, if his legs were cropped he might as well be dead, how was he meant to fight when he couldn't even stand up?

All sorts of thoughts were going through his head, but the one thing in common between them were that there was no hope and that he was doomed.

These thoughts were taking a toll on his head, Sam forcefully stopped his thoughts and stared blankly in the darkness to calm himself down.

He knew there was still hope, he had jumped he system and was a Saiyan, he calmed himself down slowly and asked for his status.

Name: Sam

Age: 14

Bloodline: Saiyan

Power Level: 15638

Techniques: Kaioken (x2)

SSJ Forms: None

Seeing that he was 5 times stronger than before brought a slight hope in his eyes but the attack that hit the carriage, carried way more power than his current PL, which meant he wasn't a match to them and the only thing he could do was try to escape while being crippled.
