"Why do you think the vampire elders went to contact me and the hunter association?" Dion asked a pop quiz question again.
I merely shrugged in response.
But I can actually guess the reason. They probably wanted to get rid of those stronger than them. This was not the first time this happened, after all. They did attempt to develop a method of converting vampires into humans.
Luckily, they miserably failed at that time.
But now, they're back with their planning and cunning ways.
Even though I already had my suspicions as to the reason the vampire elders contacted the hunter organization, Dion confirmed these thoughts.
"They wanted to take you down, Elena." He said. "You don't seem surprised." Dion smiled.
I shrugged again. "Well, I never got along with those geezers in the first place."
Dion then laughed.
How could you even laugh at this situation?
Of course, I never asked him that out loud.
