"Don't get too close with that person, got it?" Lucas then immediately told me the moment the call was ended.
"Un." I nodded.
Lucas stood up and held out his arm in invitation once more.
I also stood up and wound my arm around his as we walked to the dining hall.
I too don't want to have anything to do with Jason. My mission with him's already done and so I don't need to bother with him anymore. I just hope that he won't bother me anymore.
Even though I say that, I think that won't be possible with the times our eyes met in the auction hall.
Also, I could feel a lot of people staring at me at this instant.
Not only from Jason, though. But also from other people present.
When we entered the hall, my eyes brightened at the food I could spot in a corner. A huge corner at that.
Lucas then chuckled.
"I bet you're totally hungry. It's already 9PM and you've only had light biscuits, after all."
