"Rest in peace, o pieces of flesh. I may not know who you belong to, but rest easy in the next world and I pray you get to eat all that your heart wishes."
Sizzle~
Bob had his hands together in prayer while he stood in front of a large fire fueled by the sloppy mangled corpses. Stinky and dirty, he no longer cared as he knew the severity of the matter at hand.
'Something scarier than murder happened here…'
He felt it at first, the eerie atmosphere of the village seeped into him as he gathered the corpses. After a while as he did so, he realized that there were no signs of a struggle anywhere, there was no fight.
'It must have been a ritual or something,' he inconclusively thought.
One more weird thing he realized was that there were no bones at all apart from those used as the structural body of the primitive tents. Again, he has no clue as to what this could mean.
"Lavy, lower your head, and let's send them properly."
"Cluck!"
