"Alright, I'll help you with that. When it comes to fashion statement, Zerah and I are so good about it. The nearest KPop idol fashion center is sale this week, I saw pretty clothes that will surely look good on you. I'll also teach you on how to put some make up on and Zerah will advice you the right skin care routine and products. You're beautiful it's just that you don't know how to take good care of your own self. Be a lady you should be, okay? So just trust us on what's best for you." Sana hugged her cousin as she saw tears dropping from her eyes. Nawa is touched on how concern her friends are about her.
Just like Zerah to Hoshi, Nawa has been eyeing Dah for almost four years now. But both of them didn't do flirty tactics nor throw themselves to the man their affectionate with. And now that Zerah has been noticed by Hoshi, Zerah thought of an idea so that Nawa will be notify by Dah, as well. She's not that selfish to be happy on her own and let Sana bully Nawa for being unable to catch Dah's attention. And probably through it, Nawa also experience that overjoy in her heart.
After the event, Zerah waited for Dah at the parking lot. She's chatting with Sana and Nawa when Mrs. Miranda and her daughters Hesha and Hashy pass by having a serious conversation while walking. Hashy instantly recognized Zerah through her voice though she only seen her back with Nawa and Sana facing them.
"Sister Zerah!" She immediately approaches Zerah with a wide smile on her face.
"Oh, Hi! Hashy, right?" She said with a grin.
"Glad you still remember my name. Most people exchanges Ate Hesha's name with mine." She then showed up her VIP I.D pass with her photo on it and her elder sister's name below it as an evidence. She's so happy that someone recognizes her on her own name and she even jump on the streets because of so much joy.
"Are you complementing her or complaining? But, infairness she have a good memory that only means she has a healthy brain. I guess she's still single, beside from slightly looking stress maybe because of studying, yet I can see through her eyes that there's a hint of affection towards someone." Hesha said with a hidden meaning. Dah accidentally told her before that she has a crush on her brother.
"Ladies, do you have plans for today?" Mrs. Miranda asked smiling.
"If I were to answer your question ma'am, I will probably be sitting on the couch watching KDramas or lying on my bed daydreaming about me and Dah when I got home very early since my parents are both busy with their own families. Unless Zerah or Sana will invite me to stick with them for the rest of the day." Nawa let out a heavy sigh after her dramatic statement.
"How about you, Miss?" Mrs. Miranda turn her head on Sana.
"As for me, ma'am. I've done the household chores before leaving the house so I think there won't be any problem if I'll accompany these two in whatever they want to do in wherever they want to go. Unless my aunt will call or text me to babysit my niece. But, I hope no one will disturb me just today, I deserve to take a rest once in a while." Sana shrugged her shoulders while explaining.
"How about you, Zerah? Are you available this lunch time? My son Hoshi and his friends we'll be a having a celebration for their success in passing the walk in audition under MME Phil. Corp. and I heard you're close friends with Dah. He'll will be there, too so I assume you'll be joining us? "Mrs. Miranda frankly asked her.
"I'm very sorry Mrs. Miranda but I really need to ask for my parents permission, first. Mama is very strict and overprotective, she doesn't want me and my siblings to hide anything from her. She always remind us everyday that in order to make good relationship with others, you must build a good communication with them. Less secrets, less misunderstandings. So, as much as possible, we ask for their permission and inform them in everywhere we go and in everything we do." Zerah sounds like refusing the invitation considering her parent's decisions about the matter especially that they're unaware of her social affairs.
Mrs. Miranda is stunned by how much Zerah respected her parents through still thinking of their opinions knowing that she's already a grown up lady who has a stable job. But, somehow Zerah wins her sympathy for being a responsible eldest that she even envy her parents for having a good daughter like her. She also hopes that Hesha and Hashy has the same mindset like as Zerah.
"Yeah, everything she said were true. They have these crazy rules in their house, Aunt Zynea and Uncle Zephran implemented it so their children will be well disciplined and for their security, as well. And if one of them disobeyed it, they'll surely dead. That's why I always asked for her parents permission every time I invited her going out for a friendly date and school works. They will only agree if she has a chaperone, either of her cousins, siblings or Nawa and Sana. It's a big deal if she just went there without knowing by her parents, she might get scolded and will probably be grounded for the whole week or worse, for the whole month." Dah suddenly came out like a mushroom explaining with an anxious expression.
"Yeah, that's how my parents raised us. And as I long as we're living in one roof with them, we don't have the freedom to follow our own will. Not unless we've already finish studying and have a stable job. Only then, we can show them that we can stand on our own and live our life according to what we want it to be. I truly appreciate and understand everything that their doing for us, it's for our own good anyway so I think complaining and hating them will just be a waste of time." Once again, Mrs. Miranda and the rest who heard those words coming from Zerah were stunned for a moment. This woman has a pure heart.
