Act: 8
As the spider rushes towards Taku, Lin being on the right side of him, he jumps out of the way to his right. Tila who is on the left side next to Taku, and Bruce who's next to Tila, both jump out of the way to their left, so it had just been the spider and Taku.
"Wait! Where are y'all going!"
The spider makes its way to him, right as it is about to stomp him down with its charge, he jumps high into the air front flipping over the spider, while charging up energy in his wand for a brutal attack.
*Wosh*
"You really think you can hit me that easily creepy crawls, well sadly you're wrong. Ice Fragment!"
Pointing his wand at its head while in the air, launching a series of Ice shards hitting it directly and causing the spider to lose balance. Once he landed back onto the ground and slid back a bit before charging up for another attack.
"You guys wanna help me out here!"
"You know it! I was just letting you get comfortable with your pissed-off buddy!"
*Haha*
Lin shouts in response to what he said as the others chuckle a bit before helping him in the fight.
While the spider is trying to recover from the attack it stands back up, Lin comes running on the left side of the spider charging up his sword slashing at its legs, noticing that it was difficult to cut them in half.
"Guys stay cautious, it seems like the monster is a lot more durable than I thought."
*Alright!*
The spider struggles once more as it tries to get back up, but it continues to get attacked at its legs by Tila's whip and the slashes of Lin's sword. While Taku continues to charge his wand behind the spider.
"Guys I have an idea, Lin put more energy into the sword and used Rapid Slash and Tila! I want you to use your whip and pull the spider's leg down, Bruce can I have you use 50% of your shield and make the shield much bigger and bash its head once it's completely down."
"I've got something up my sleeve that I think can finish it and have been waiting to try it out!"
All of them nod their heads in response to what Taku had said. Charging up his sword, Tila wraps her whip around one of its legs and pulls it down.
"I'm all set whenever you are Taku!"
Bruce makes his way from behind her and in front of the spider. Charging his shield, it became larger and was ready. The spider tried to struggle its way back up once more while being hindered from the three. Soon after holding it down, he finishes up charging his new move and is ready to finish it off.
"I'm all set, now give it everything you've got to completely immobilize it!"
*hsssiss*
Suddenly the spider's red eyes began to glow and a dark reddish. Energy began to flow, emitting from its entire body.
"Hey guys, the spider's eyes are glowing. I think the spider-"
*HISISSIIS*
The spider screeches and jumps high into the air, ripping the whip from its leg and quickly landing on Tila, crushing her into the ground. The Spider looks over at Bruce before appearing behind him.
"Ah-"
Bruce's eyes widen as he turns his head to be greeted by the big spider and right as it's about to grab him with its jaw, Bruce immediately puts his shield up to protect him, but the jaw was just too sharp, and it priced through his shield.
*Fihss*
Blood splattered in the air as its jaw dug deep into his arm. The spider jerks its head, throwing his body next to where Tila had been resting. It then turned around in Lin and Taku's direction. Lin rushes at the spider, jumping into the air performing his Rapid Slash launching continuous slashes, it avoided except for two slashes that hit its abdomen, the spider jumped into the air and landed on some trees before appearing behind Lin while he was in the air.
"How the hell are you this fas-"
*Ach!*
Striking him with its leg, Lin flies to the ground next to Tila and Bruce. As the spider sees the three piled together it shoots out some webs in rapid sessions, trapping them in that area before hitting the ground looking at Taku.
Taku stands still with an angered expression.
"I see.. You just wanted this fight to be me and you? You're pretty smart for a monster but I honestly don't like what you did to my friends there."
*Kwkw*
The spider seemed to try and smile as if it were laughing at Taku. It starts to charge at him with full force again.
He stood still while the spider was heading in his direction, he turned his head looked over to the others and shouted.
"Bruce! Put everything you've got into a shield and protect you and the others; I know I keep saying that but I'm not sure how much damage this will do!"
As they focus on healing Bruce immediately puts a shield bubble up around him and the others that broke the web surrounding them. Slightly turning his head his eyes started to glow blue and with a menacing stare as he saw the spider in his face about to bite him, he lifted his wand up into the air with an Icy haze emitting from it.
"..."
"Frozen Prison!"
*Agkghh*
Spikes of Ice came from the ground enclosing Taku's body and a bunch of ice shot out from his direction pricing the spider in the mouth and its entire body. Also leaving the entire woods to what seemed an Ice land, spikes of ice coming from the ground and covering trees.
The shield bubble Bruce had made almost broke from the sheer force. After a few seconds passed the ice broke apart and disappeared. The dead body of the spider shriveled up and dropped to the ground alongside Taku's unconscious body.
Lin is shocked, he gets up and rushes towards Taku. Shaking him a bit before noticing that he was unconscious from using up most of all his energy.
"Phew.. He's ok guys! Let's hurry up and loot the boss and head out of here, Bruce can you lend me a hand please."
Taku rested on Tila's lap while the other two looted the spider. Once they had finished up with the loot, Bruce went over to her and picked up his body, resting him on his shoulder making their way to the exit portal.

Arriving back at the Quest field other Rankers can be seen entering the main portal and coming back. They make their way to the lounge and sit at the table seating Taku next to Tila resting him on her shoulder and across sits Lin and Bruce.
All three show signs of being really exhausted.
"Maybe we underestimated that spider too much? I was surprised it was able to eat my Rapid Slash and do some decent damage to me. I can say that was the most fun I've had in a while and it's thanks to this kid. You guys' hand over his share of money and loot, I'm heading home it's getting pretty late out."
Sitting up from the table Lin makes his way out of the lounge but he turns around before leaving looking back at the table.
"Make sure you give him my number; I can't wait to do more Quests with him!"
*Ok*
"Catch you later Tila, make sure to take care of him."
*Sigh*
"No problem, cya later."
Bruce stands up from the table as well, setting down the money and loot he lets a smile off and makes his way out the lounge. Tila looks over at Taku patting him on his head and says in a soft tone, unlike her raucous self.
"You know, you were something out there. I guess you could say you were kinda coo-"
*yawn*
"huh.."
Tila quickly takes her hand off his head and looks away embarrassed.
"You ok..? your face seems-?"
*Ahem*
She turns her head back at him grabbing his cheeks and pulls them.
"My face seems like what, sleepyhead!"
"so-orwy, my-y fu-lt"
Letting go of his cheeks she stands up and helps his way up too. As she gets ready to head out.
"So, on the table is your share of money and loot and a gift that the spider dropped, we figured you would want it because you had the most fun with it."
Taku brushes the drowsy look on his face and grabs his fair share of stuff.
"Oh snap, thank you- wait where are you going?"
"I'm heading home, it's 01:09 and you should be doing the same too."
"Um! Could you maybe give me a ride back home.. I don't have one.. sorry.."
"Yeah sure, common, let's go. Just send me the location."
During the car ride to Taku's house, he gets all of their phone numbers and when he arrives at his house, they exchange their goodbyes, and they part ways for the time being.

Wednesday, The next day, and the beginning of class.
*Yawn*
'Yesterday I gotta say it was amazing, I took down my first boss and formed my own party.'
Taku starts grinning to himself out of joy.
'Hmm.. I do wonder where Shizu is, he usually is never late?'
Meanwhile Chisaka.
'Ugh!'
"Why hasn't he returned any of my calls or texts? I wanted to hang out with him yesterday and even today, he still hasn't answered."
Sitting across the table sat another girl who was a friend of Chisaka.
"I don't know why you want him so bad; I see nothing appealing about that 2 Star kid. Like why are you so interested in him?"
'It has to be Hano, that bitch is always putting his nose where it doesn't belong!'
She stands up and looks at her friend with a fake smile on her face before walking away.
"See I need to use him; he will be mine and only mine."
"U-h ok? Hehe what If I decide to take him away from you hmm?"
"Oh you, stop playing around hehe. I will see you later though I just remembered I need to take care of something."
Chisaka walked away with a foul look on her face.
'Bitch If you go near him, I won't hesitate to send you to the hospital!'
Making her way around the school, she enters Shizu's class and notices Taku sitting at his desk and walks over to him.
"Excuse me."
Taku lifts his head up and sees Chisaka looking over him.
'Huh! There's no way, there's no way she's here, Ms. Popular. Did my news spread out about me beating the boss...! And how cool I was?!'
"U-um yea what's up?"
"Have you seen Shizu by any chance? I know you guys hang out a lot?"
'Wow Shizu, why would she want you out of all people.. what a mood kill.'
"Nope. Haven't heard a word from him."
"Ah, Thank you anyways"
She turns away and walks out of the classroom in search of Hano to see if he has stuck his nose into some information.
'Ugh- What a waste of my time to ask him.'
She makes her way over to the student council office, barging in. Noticing that Hano wasn't at his desk, although there was one other council member in the room who was sitting on the sofa reading.
"Do you by any chance know where Hano is?"
The young lady with green hair that touched her shoulders and bright green eyes politely replied.
"No. In fact, I don't appreciate you barging in."
'Tch, she obviously doesn't know who she's messing with.'
The door opened from behind Chisaka, standing behind her was Hano himself. Turning around quickly and grabbing him by the collar, doing that had caused the young lady sitting down to jolt up and have her ability on standby.
Hano slightly adjusts his glasses.
"Calm down, I will take care of this. Chisaka, please let go of me and we can talk outside of the office."
Both walk out of the office, closing the door and staring each other down.
