Chapter 41 - Chapter 39

"Alright, Bonnie, I'm pretty sure that, with this, there won't be any problem, and just this time I want you to keep an eye on him while Foxy and me try to hide that animatronic, although I think it's going to be impossible to hide such a thing," Frog told me while putting some things over Freddy to keep him save while he's in this condition.

"Frog, when will Freddy be ok?" I asked.

"It's hard to say, but you can be sure he will be ok, as long as we take care of him." She was putting down her stethoscope on some drawer.

I turned my sight to that beautiful and unconscious bear.

"I would really love him to be awake, I'm sure he would never wish all this disaster to happen."

"Bonnie, don't be so hard to yourself," she said as she put her hand on my forearm, "no one wants this things to happen, and if you're so worry about what Freddy would think, then you can be in charge of this place."

"You really think so?" I asked smirking.

Frog just smiled and nodded.

"I'll be right back," she said while leaving Freddy's room. I just saw her walking out.

There are so many things that I wish I can tell Freddy, and I know in some of them he would tell me 'ok', in others he would deny, that I'm crazy, perhaps, that I'm a punk, etc. I walked to the edge of the bed to sit next to him, just like he sat on my bed on that beautiful and magic night. I felt I had to see him closer, so I leaned to him. I sat against his belly, and as I was staring at him unconscious, I stroked his cheeks and ruffled the fur in the top of his head: it's so soft; no one would think he's sick. As I kept stroking him, I thought about all the things Freddy would be proud of me when he wakes up, and I thought that, maybe, he wouldn't like to see me planning a revenge to Springtrap because of this situation, even though he didn't live the experience I lived. I think he would agree about this decision, and I understand revenge is one of the worst feelings, but I can't help but stopping think he has to pay for it. Springtrap is an animatronic in which I have no idea what he's been going through these days, and according to Foxy's story, it looks like he has never been a good-built animatronic, but what really gets me puzzled is how Springtrap 'appeared' in the fabric, because if he was already a worn and unworking thing, he shouldn't have supposed to be repaired anymore, and if Rachel would have wanted to fix him, I don't see rational by a restaurant to hire an animatronic like him, knowing that he's not ok, this is really weird. I could even think the rabbit-shaped animatronic Foxy told me about was actually never Springtrap, and he maybe told me that to hide something. Also the story Freddy told me, that day when he jumped over me, was totally different than this one: 'five children murdered by a night guard', or Springtrap hitting Mathias too, I don't know why they tell me so many rumors, maybe it's because of the own good of the restaurant, or just to hide information about me. I don't know, it would make more sense if he was never that rabbit animatronic, but rather a distraction. I can't think straight.

"Freddy." I started to talk to him, "I know you might not like the idea of me doing this, but I just can't forget our best friend Ivy, so... if you excuse me, I'll take care of Springtrap."

I carefully raised Freddy's head to hug him by his neck so I can "apologize" about doing this without his real authorization, but I want this to end up at once before it gets too late.

Mike

10:00 P. M.

I was pretty sure at least the esthetic was going to accept me in their crew for my experience as a haircutter in my brother's club, I thought this pizzeria wasn't gonna be interested in me because of my absence, but it seems they were, although it's probably because of my contribution of one million dollars that, of course, my brother paid himself for me to finally get a job. My idea wasn't to work here, and these days what really got me worried about it's not the sudden call to go to work today, but about that accident that happened yesterday: some people say that it was just a firework practice that went wrong, or it was because of some tracks, or they even say it was because of the mascots of the place; those affirmations that try to find an answer seem so foolish to me, I guess the best way to find out is risking personally there, no matter the danger. The human resources' worker told me that one employee, who doesn't work there anymore, left some recorded audios for me to get settled in the room where I'm gonna look over the restaurant. Fortunately, my idea kept in consideration, and the only thing I'll have to do is sneak into the restaurant and get to the security office, which seems to be between two hallways. To avoid panicking, Fazbear Pizza's manager declared the accident not a big deal to be scared or worried about, there will also be some workers to protect the restaurant—that is me—while others repair it, so it'll remain closed down for a while, but I'll have to go anyway.

I'm now arriving to the pizzeria's parking lot. There are many road cones around and yellow tapes boarding it up, also it's kinda dark here, but anyway, the worker told me to get in by the destructed wall, where the front door was supposed to be. I left my car already, and I'm slowly walking towards the restaurant, which is darker inside than outside. As I kept walking, I saw nothing but rubble on the ground, so I turned on a flashlight that I considered useful when getting in to look better. I beamed to my left once I was inside, and I could see a room with a stove inside, that must be the restaurant's kitchen. I kept sweeping the beam from top to bottom around the main room. I could see a not-too-long hallway, but before I could've walked in, I beamed to my right, so I could make sure there was another hallway. I was still moving my flashlight and, with widen eyes, I could see a sort of bear animatronic walking beside the hallway, I could see his back, but when I lighted him up, he quickly turned around his head, only his head: he had empty eyes with shiny white pupils, and it seemed no one was controlling him. I felt so scared that I dropped my flashlight. I quickly crotched down to pick it up, but once I was pointing the beam there again, the bear wasn't there anymore, nowhere in sight. Not even the worst of my nightmares made me shudder like I'm doing right now. After I picked up my flashlight, I thoughtlessly started to run by the nearest hallway; I don't know why I didn't run away and get in my car. I can't calm down. After a quick walk through, what I felt, the longest hallway, I got in an office. Indeed, there was another door at the other side of it, there's a desk with a computer, and... There's a close button! I quickly pressed it and the door shut down. For some seconds I took deep breaths to calm down and inspection the place. I sat down on a swivel chair and started to look at the desk, as though looking for something. There was nothing but some papers, ripped candy trash and a telephone. This is it! I pressed the button so I could hear the messages. There was one.

"Hello, hello? Uh... I think a human resources' employee was going to tell you about this voice message for you, and well, indeed, by this way I'm going to help you to get settled in on your first night, l actually worked in that office before you. I already finished my last week, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine. So, let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay?

Uh, let's see, first there's an introductory greeting from the company that I'm supposed to read. Uh, it's kind of a legal thing, you know. 'Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced.' Of course after that accident the restaurant must be going though a rough time.

So, remember, these characters are called Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, and they hold a special place in the hearts of children and we need to show them a little respect, right? Okay, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh... Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. Now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll p-most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to... forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort... and death. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I guess there's nothing more I can do but wish you good luck. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night!"

After the voice message had finished, I turned to the door I arrived from, and I see that big golden bear again. The last thing I heard was a loud scream from him.
