Dark Dark and Phoenix were standing in the hallway talking.
"I can't believe, we have another party today. After Young Blood's Birthday a few days ago", he said.
"Yeah, well. It's Halloween. All would be sad if we didn't celebrate. Isn't it your favorite holiday?", she replied. "Yes, but it reminds me of last time. I couldn't even go outside 'cause there were so many shadows and evil shades", he told her.
"It doesn't mean, it will be like last time", Phoenix responded and Dark Dark nodded.
"But there is something else on your mind, right?", she guess.
He sighed and she continued: "come on, tell me."
"It's just... I had a nightmare again. There was this bright, blinding light everywhere and I couldn't move. I didn't know what will happen next. I was so scared", he answered.
"It was just a dream. It means nothing. You just should forget about it", she tried to calm him down.
Dark Dark sighed again and said: "it's not that easy."
Phoenix touched his shoulder and tried to cheer him up with an understanding smile. He gave her a little smile back.
In the evening everyone was dressed up in the big hall. Dark Dark was wearing a Batman costume and Phoenix a short red and orange dress with wings. She was a phoenix. XO was a vampire with fangs and Thrill a werewulf with claws and fur. Plane Crash, Bad Idea and Saturday were dressed as zombies and Young Blood was a ghost.
July went as nature godess with a long green dress. Frosty was an ice queen with a blue dress and a silver crown and Numb came as a revenant. Fade was dressed as a scary demon with light blue skin and horns.
Sugar went as a pink candy monster which looked really cute and Menace was a witch with a broom and a big purple hat.
Care dressed as a murderer with an axe and Mmrs as a monster with sharp claws.
Trick weared a cool skeleton costume. Cherry Blossom didn't liked Halloween so she didn't come. She rather wanted to work and design new cool clothes.
At the party they had lots of yummy food like burgers, chicken wings, french fries, various saures, sweet muffins, cake and scary shaped cookies, like ghosts, bats, graves. They all danced and had a lot of fun. Numb and Fade organised the music and played the DJ in turns. They had lots of spoky and cool scary music.
Phoenix had to be very careful with her wings from her costume while dancing so she wouldn't lose feathers because she accidently crashed her wings into other dancers. It was annoying but she really loved her costume as a phoenix.
Dark Dark tried to look out for her too but got caught up in Frosty's charme. She stared at him a lot and told him how sexy he looked in his Batman costume. He blushed heavily and tried to hide that he felt uncomfortable. They ate chicken wings and french fries together and Frosty lured him in by searving him lots of good cocktails. She nearly seemed to enchant him when he finally was drunk and they danced.
Phoenix watched them a little worried but ensured herself her brother will be fine. He was just having fun.
Young Blood was hanging out with Mmrs and Trick.
"What kind of monster are you even?", Young Blood asked Mmrs curious.
"I have sharp claws. That's the kind of monster I am!", Mmrs called and put his claws ready to attack playfully. All laughed.
They went on talking about ghosts, and skeletons in general, how they made their awesome costumes and about the spoky music.
Saturday, Plane Crash, Bad Idea, Care and Thrill were standing near the tables with the food and enjoyed their burgers and afterwards the cake and the halloween shaped cookies. Bad Idea and Plane Crash made fun of the, in their opinion, poorly shapd cookies. One hardly looked like a bat, others looked nearly like flowers or hearts, not spoky shaped. Saturday and Care defended the cookies and Sugar who baked them all. There were a lot of cookies. Not all could be perfect. Then they made fun of Sugar's pink candy monster costume and Care and Saturday saw it was pointless to defend her. They will always find a way to laigh about something.
Luckily Sugar didn't know that in Bad Idea's and Plane Crash's eyes she looled rediculous and everything but scary like it would be typical for Halloween. She just had fun eating sweets, dancing and talking to her friends like July, XO, Menace and Phoenix.
