A decapitated head sits in a snowstorm that started from a powerful battle nearby shaking the heavens. That head was Kori's, after it has been released from his neck by Anon. It sits covered in snow; making it look like a snowball with some cold dead flesh showing through the parts not fully covered in snow. The blood that came from both the body and the head both froze. The face of an angry man, but the eyes of a kid lost, confused, and facing death. Yet, you could still feel the murderous intent coming from the face. So much, that the animals escaping the forest strayed away from the pile of cold frozen flesh.
Kori: [Even in the end, I died..]
Kori sits in the dark of an unknown place. He surely thought he has died, yet he still feels everybit alive. But, its different; he can't feel a heart, or blood flowing through his veins. All he sees is darkness and the circle of light around him.
Kori: [It was painful.]
Kori was recalling the events that he had just witnessed in his memory. The brutalization he had to go through, he hated it.
Kori: [I don't want to go back]
Kori curled into a ball and dug his face between his knees. He did not care where he was, as long as it wasn't that world.
???: [So you did give up?]
Kori doesn't look up from his knees. He keeps his vision limited to anything outside.
???: [Jeez, c'mon look up already! I guess Kale wasn't wrong when he said you were in a bad place.]
What sounded like a female voice, kicked Kori lightly and he came tumbling down still in the curled up position he was in.
Kori: [I don't know who Kale is, leave me alone.]
???: [No can do. I would leave if I could but, I was told what I was told.]
Kori: [I don't know what that means. I'm not listening to another conscious of myself motivate me to commit suicide. I'm never going back to that world even if I got the power up I had in the dungeon. You're too late if you wanted to give me powers now, i'm dead already.]
Kori keeps his head buried into his knees not taking a glance at the women in front of him.
???: [Huh?! What are you an idiot! I'm not giving you any powers, it's you're own decision whether you want to be strong or not.]
Kori: [Huhhh? What are you eve-]
As Kori lifts his head, he sees a girl with a red suit of armor on. He then looks at what highlights the girl to his remembrance; her red hair. Besides her smug look on her face she didn't look all that repulsive to say the least.
Kori: [I- reme-]
Girl: [Yeah, Yeah you remember me right.]
She interrupted him right in the middle of his speech.
Kori: [You are in my dreams, but what is your name again?]
Girl: [Dreams?! Disgusting. My name is Melody, and the fact I was in this wimps dream is repulsive in itself.]
Kori: [Hey, who are you calling a wimp!!]
Kori got up to look the girl in the face.
Melody: [ I have every right to call you a wimp I suppose. I mean, this is the first time you got up to you're feet.]
Kori looks down to the ground again.
Kori: [ I know why you're here. Well, I don't fully understand why I have people talk to me in my head, but I am not going to do anything else.]
Melody: [Well, I'm not here to motivate you. I was just given orders and I have to follow them. What you decide is not my problem.]
Kori: [Orders? By who and why?]
Melody: [I can't tell you who, but I was just told to tell you a message.]
Kori: [ Message? Hah, I died don't make me la-]
Melody: [Fight Kori. Fight for what you know you have to fight for. I will protect you for later, but in the meanwhile fight as strong as you can. Right now I can't be there, its going to hurt a lot, but you need to fight. If you don't it is over.]
Kori: [Huh?]
Melody: [That's all I got as the message. So, what are you going to do?]
Kori: [That sounds familiar... But, I won't do anything else is what my intellect is telling me]
Kori sits back down on the ground, this time with his legs crossed.
Melody: [Welp, that's all I needed to do, too bad.]
Melody dust her hands off and walks back towards the darkness.
Melody: [ LIKE HELL!]
Melody runs back into the light kicking Kori with a large amount of power sending him flying.
Kori: [Ow, What the hell is wrong with you!!??]
Melody: [ No what's wrong with you!! Get off your butt already you selfish jerk!!]
Kori: [Who are you to tell me that!]
Melody: [Did you forget!? You're sister, Serene, everyone back in the kingdom. The fact that Anon still walks about freely, after you said you would kill him.!]
All those words flow through Kori's mind, and he starts to cry.
Kori: [I know that already, but what can I do!?]
Melody sighs.
Melody: [You're always giving me extra jobs to do.]
Melody knells down to Kori's level to look him in the face.
Kori: [Huh..]
Melody embraces Kori with a huh.
Melody: [I really tried to protect you from it this time I promise.] Melody whispers to herself without Kori hearing.
Kori: [Melody? Wha-]
Melody lets go of her embrace with Kori and looks him in the eyes.
Melody: [Listen Kori, tell my why you don't want to go back into the world.]
Kori: [Did you not see what they just did to me? I'm scared I don't want anymore.]
Melody: [Even if you're sister is still in that world?]
Kori's eyes light up with more emotion.
Kori: [I-It c-can't b-]
Melody: [Who cared what happened? It already happened. The part that's going to hurt the most is the regret not Anon killing you. Plus you know you have been through pain before.]
Kori still hesitating to look Melody in the eyes.
Kori: [It's too late, i'm dead..]
Melody sighs again.
Melody: [It's not too late, you just refuse to keep going.]
Kori: [I refuse?]
Melody gives Kori a light pound to his heart with her fist.
Melody: [Listen to what you're heart is saying, not your mind.]
Kori: [My.. heart..]
Melody: [Yes, what does it say Kori?]
Tears start to come out of Kori's eyes again.
Kori: [Its telling me to save my sister and my friend.]
Melody nods her head with her eyes closed.
Kori: [It's telling me to kill Anon!]
Kori's voice starts to break up as more tears flow from his eyes. Melody's arms lay rested on his shoulders, as she nods again.
Kori: [It's telling me to go back!]
Melody: [Then Stand up Kori!]
Kori's eyes quickly look up at Melody for the first time since he first saw her. But this time, her face wasn't smug; her crimson eye's looked straight into his. She was beautiful, Kori thought.
Melody: [Stand up when you are down! Stand up when people think you can't anymore! And keep standing until you finished your job!]
Kori: [But Melody, it's going to hurt.]
Melody: [Of Course it is, who said it's going to be easy. But who cares!? Just get through the pain.]
Kori: [Get through the pain?]
Melody: [Yeah, if it hurts too much me and everyone else will bare it!]
Melody: [Just like we always have.] she whispers to herself.
Kori: [Hah.]
Kori starts laughing and laughing. His tears of sorrow turn into tears of laughter. Melody blushes.
Melody: [What did I say something funny?]
Kori: [No you said nothing wrong. I just noticed you can be cute and likeable if you try. But, most importantly I know what I have to do now.]
Melody blushes and looks away embarrassed letting go of Kori's shoulders.
Melody: [Jeez, look who knows how to make things weird.]
Kori: [Thank you Melody! Thanks to you I can keep pushing forward.]
Kori stands up and points his fist to the sky.
Kori: [This time I won't give up and I will keep pushing for you and everyone else who is counting on me!]
Melody blushes and then looks back at Kori with a smile.
Melody: [You better!]
Kori: [Yeah, I'm not done yet! You hear that dark power me! Give me power another time, and you won't regret it!]
The darkness starts disappearing showing light; and retreating into a human form. A shadow of Kori stands a couple of meters from Melody and Kori. Kori looks back at Melody and holds up a thumbs up.
Kori: [This time I won't let you done. Because, I have a chance.]
Melody: [Hmph, well I wish you luck]
Kori: [Well, Im off!]
Kori runs towards the shadow yelling with all his might. Melody stands in the background smiling and starts talking to herself when Kori disappears.
Melody: [I'm truly sorry I couldn't save you this time, I guess I don't have it in myself to see you like that. It's going to hurt Kori. But, maybe this time..]
Melody laughs at herself as she starts to fade away.
Melody: [Something felt different this time.]
Anon: [So you're done old man? Man I thought you would have more of a chance this time.]
Anon stands in the aftermath battlefield of the fight between him and Tejin. Tejin lays down in some rubble with his body bloodied and unable to move anymore.
Tejin:[I for sure thought I killed you, but how?]
Anon: [I might be the weakest of the plagues, but I'm still a damn legend. Oh well what does it matter, I'm going to kill you like the other kid now]
Anon sighs as he slowly walks over to Tejins weakened body. He was closely approaching Tejin then.. Anon's face changes to an unknown facial expression to him. Fear, a feeling he has never felt before, no, the last time he felt fear was hundreds of years ago.
Anon: [What the he-]
Boom! The forest starts decaying behind something approaching Anon. A dark sinister aura and feeling was felt behind Anon's back. He quickly turns around.
Anon: [Who's there! Is it the END, not the END shouldn't be here. Then.. w-who is it?]
Anon looks towards the decaying forest. He sees a shadow bringing a trail of darkness behind him, and immense power.
Anon: [Y-you?!Bb-ut how?! You shouldn't be here and how did you get that power!?]
Anon drops down to his knees as he looks at the shadow engulfed in flames. The face of the shadow had a demon face made from those flames. They walk with a giant sinister smile on their face and menacing eyes. Tejin slowly looks up to the approaching shadow.
Tejin:[What happened to you kid..]
The shadow was saying something a demonic tone overlapped that of a human's.
Anon: [You're that Kori kid...! But how! You are barely even human anymore! Did you make a demon pact? No even with pact, this power!]
Shadow: [Ki-Ll HiM kOri!]
In front of Anon was a dominating force which he had not experienced in centuries.
