From here, there was no going back. Aralyn took a deep breath.
She went to Nira's class & excused her with Aralyn.
Nira looked at her confusingly.
"Nira, do you trust ma'am?" Aralyn bend down before the little girl.
"Yes, I do." She looked at Aralyn with those innocent eyes.
Aralyn sighed she once had those same innocent eyes with fear clouded on them...
She hugged Nira...
She wanted to put every bit of her concerns in that hug. So that Nira wouldn't be as insecure as her...
Another girl would be able to smile... Not die within day by day, like she did.
After sometime police came to the school and arrested the driver.
Nira's parents thanked Aralyn and invited her over dinner.
Aralyn wanted to deny at first but then she thought if she go there then she'll be able to talk to Nira.
So, she nodded her head in confirmation and said, "Thank you for the invite ma'am. I'll surely come."
Aralyn walked back home from school. It was a hectic day but she was satisfied as she could save Nira.
She didn't know how many girls she could save, but Aralyn would fight for them till her last breath. Because to her, each life matters.
Aralyn was in deep thought after returning home.Nira's situation had really triggered her memory.
She was feeling really lost & uneasy. This was the torment she would face from those horrible memories.
Aralyn was wriggling her clothes while her breathing became heavy. She was so lost in the thought that she didn't even realize knock on the door.
Aunt lily got worried after not getting any response from Aralyn, so she came inside and saw Aralyn's miserable state.
She almost ran towards her & hugged her.
"Shhhh...It's okay girl. Everything's fine. " Aunt lily tried to comfort Aralyn.
Her words dragged Aralyn back to reality, as she hugged her back tightly.
After some time, when Aralyn was back to normal aunt lily asked her, "Do you want to talk about it?"
Aralyn didn't say anything but aunt lily could clearly see the pain in her eyes. Aunt let Aralyn sit on the edge of the bed as she sat beside her.
Aunt lily let out a sigh as she tried to console her.
Even she didn't know exactly what had happened with Aralyn in the past. It's not like she didn't ask about it. But Aralyn never gave her any answer.
Lily could understand that there must be some horrible idcidents in her past, the pain in Aralyn's eyes clearly depicts that. So, she never tried to dig the poor girl's wounds.

Lily still remembers the day she met Aralyn.
That day she was upset herself, so she walked to the park. There she saw a girl sitting on the swing, she was looking down in deep thought.
Lily walked up to her & sat down on the swing beside her, "Hey." She said sweetly.
The innocent face turned towards her, tears were rolling down her eyes. She looked completely broken, it seemed like she has lost her everything.The girl looked devastated, broken.
Lily asked her about her name but she didn't reply, instead she looked down while sobbing.
Lily wasn't feeling good to see her crying like this. The girl's tears pricked in her heart, she felt an immense amount of sympathy towards the little girl.
Lily didn't know how to comfort her, she suddenly hugged the girl. In her embrace Aralyn cried like there was no tomorrow.
Aralyn told her that she wanted to end her life as there is none in her life to trust.
Everyone wanted to take benefit from her, everyone wanted to use her by every means, she trusted noone. She told all this while sobbing hard..
Lily kept on coaxing her in her arms, rubbing her back.
She let Aralyn pour all her pain out. While hugging her Aralyn felt sense of security .
Lily couldn't think of what that little girl had faced that she was at the edge of ending her life. She herself didn't have any children but always craved for one.
So, lily told Aralyn that she could live with her, as she also lives alone and she could trust her.
But Aralyn was repeating the same thing. "I Don't wanna live in this world."
It felt like she was in a daze. Lily tightened her embrace.
To make Aralyn understand the value of life Lily give her example of a little poor girl sitting on a bench opposite of their's ..
The little poor girl wants to study further but she can't because her family is quite poor to pay her school fees but still she is working somewhere as a maid and helping her parents by earning some money.
Lily said in this world everyone has their own purpose. God creates everyone to pursue their own destiny,own goal.
God doesn't create garbage. Some people can't understand the purpose and spoil their precious life but Aralyn could use her life for other's betterment.
To ensure that other doesn't face what she had faced.
Lily said,
"Aralyn,you should be grateful for this precious gift given by God. My child, promise me you will not even think about to ending your life and you will dedicate your life for the good of others.
When you feel defeated, lost, betrayed just close your eyes and think of how many lives you can save through your personal experience."
Aralyn looked at lily, her eyes had a shine of hope in them now.
She was convinced by Lily's words and said," I don't want to bother you aunty. If I'll be with you I would cause reason for your troubles.
You are so nice to me how can I risk you by living with you. I want to go far away from here, where none knows me.Where my past can't touch me."
By seeing her condition improving Lily smiled a little & said, "What if I take you too far from here with me? I have no family but from now on, you will be my only family, my only daughter. We can make a happy family together. What do you think?"
Aralyn clutched on Lily hardly. That day a yearning woman got a child & a homeless child got a mother.
They left for starting a new journey, a new life with lots of love.

Lily stopped asking Aralyn anything about her past long time ago, as it would upset Aralyn every time she would mention it....
But today she thought to ask her because she couldn't see aralyn like this anymore. She wanted to see her happy. She want her to enjoy her life fully.
Lily remembers, Aralyn even sometime used to scream at night while sleeping. Her worst past used to haunt her even in her dreams also.
After taking a deep breath Lily said, " I can understand that you have experienced something horrible in the past and you don't want to talk about that.
But my child, you should open your heart to me. It's going to be 3 years for our togetherness but you prefer to be silent instead.
Whenever there is a topic is your past,you ignore it. You have to let me know so that I can help you to heal your deep wounds. Or do you still not consider me as your mother?"
There was sadness in Lily's eyes. She wanted to become real mother for Aralyn but it looks like she failed.
By listening her words Aralyn hugged her, "No,mom. You are my mom, my only family. I just don't want to drag those incidents between us.
Please, let the bygones be bygones. Do not uproot the dead."
Aralyn took a deep breath," Presently I am happy with you & that's the only thing matters for me. One more thing I'll let you know everything when the time is right".
Both of them remained in each other's embrace for some time.
After placing a kiss on her forehead Lily said, "I'll wait for the day my daughter opens her heart to me. "
She then went out, giving Aralyn some time alone.
