That day, Zen and Javi spent it together. They got to know each other quite well actually, about each other's hobbies, preferences, likes, and dislikes. In short, they were interested in one another.
Zen loved the company of Javi and with each passing minute, he wanted to spend some more time with her. He was craving for her and was literally happy by just sitting next to her. It felt magical to be with her.
Javi usually doesn't talk that much and was quite reserved but today, she found herself very talkative, the words are just slipping right out of her mouth, and was taking the initiative to continue the conversation, while Zen was looking at her like she is the most beautiful creature of this world, and if he averted his gaze from her she would just disappear and he could never let that happen.
Truth is, it was magical to both of them.
At night she got a call from her brother with news that made her stomach twist and turn, telling her that her aunt is back from abroad for her marriage and that she wanted to meet her so he told her to come to his house at night along with Zen, she unwillingly agreed, wanting nothing but to stay away.
Her aunt always loved her very much and cared for her after the death of her parents that's why Javi also respected and loved her.
But as soon as Kay got married to Zila she started to create troubles for them.
She was actually Sunmi's mother and she persisted on Kay to marry her but when he didn't and married Zila, she started to hate Zila and thought of her as nothing but a slut. She even went as far as to blackmail Kay emotionally but it was all in vain.
She also made quite some troubles for Zila and Javi got to know about them later on. But she didn't like anyone interfering in her brother's life and happiness, but as she saw how her aunt was creating trouble for her Zila, she couldn't help but resent her.
Despite Javi's resentment towards her aunt, she always treated her well, keeping her feelings locked inside her.
>>> FLASHBACK <<<
It was just another peaceful morning, Kay and Zila were eating their breakfast in the dining room until Sunmi came along with her mother entering the room with a big proud smile on display.
Sunmi sparkled as her eyes fell on Kay, looking at him with nothing but lust and wanting, she wanted what Zila had. On the other hand, Kay didn't even seem to be bothered by it, he paid her no heed.
She sat in front of Kay while her mother sat beside her. She didn't lift her eyes off Kay, but her glares fell on ice-cold body, he didn't even look up from his breakfast.
Zila served him his breakfast and he gave him her usual bright smile which caused Sunmi to grit her teeth in jealousy. She sighed trying her best to ignore them as she couldn't do anything and started eating her breakfast which was served by maids.
They ate their breakfast in silence.
"Why don't we all go shopping?" Sunmi's mother said breaking the silence as she ate. "Would you like to join us Zila?"
Zila looked up from her plate and at the wicked woman in front of her. "I will pass," she said faking a smile. "Thank you." She had a bad feeling about this, this woman never liked her now she is inviting her to go shopping?
"I will now excuse myself, enjoy your meal," Zila said not dropping her smile and got up from her seat, and headed to her room.
"Are you okay, honey?" Kay asked with concern.
"Yes, I'm alright, just having a headache," she said turning to look at him with a sweet smile.
"You shouldn't do anything for the rest of the day," Kay said still feeling concerned.
She nodded and bowed her head slightly and exited the room.
Sunmi blinked her eye at her mother and her mother immediately understood what she wanted to say. "Can you please drop us at the mall?" she said looking at Kay.
"Of course!" Kay said with no hesitation.
When she blinked, Javi snapped her eyes at Sunmi while drinking her orange juice and frowned.
What is going on? She thought. Not liking the look in their eyes so she decided to stay a little longer. She had to postpone meeting her friend for later.
All of them stood up from their chairs and Javi also stood up and followed them to the parking area.
When they reached near the main door, a scream was heard and all of them looked back at the source, to see Sunmi's mother was laying on the floor while clutching her ankle.
Kay approached her in a hurry and helped her sit on the sofa.
Javi could see what they wanted to do and she was disgusted by her aunt's acting.
She still was just standing there waiting for their next step and her aunt spoke after Kay calmed her down a little and when she adjusted herself on the sofa.
"We had to go shopping as we had to buy some things and we will be leaving tomorrow. But….." She said with a big sigh and Sunmi faked a worried face.
Javi raised her brow and was just about to say something when her aunt spoke again and interrupted.
"Kay, why don't you take Sunmi with you for shopping." She asked with a grin.
Kay nodded his head but just then Javi spoke with a big pout on her face.
"I am also here. I will go with you." Javi said crossing her arms over her chest.
Javi realized what they wanted to do. She was aware that Sunmi still liked her brother and she still tried to seduce him every time she met him but Javi was happy that her brother didn't even bother himself with her.
Just as Javi said that Sunmi became really angry and turned her eyes to glare at her mother, she gestured with her eyes and her mother nodded as she understood what she wanted to say.
Sunmi actually wanted to spend more time with Kay alone.
She was having many fantasies in her mind but Javi was interfering and she wouldn't let her get in his brother's happy and settled life.
"No no you please stay with me." Her mother spoke again but this time with a little weak voice.
Javi was really surprised at their behavior, she always loved them as a mother and sister and she didn't think that they would try to do something like this, she was feeling disgusted and just then Zila came downstairs.
She saw all of them in the hall with worried faces so she came towards them with a frown on her face making her look like a little bunny.
She raised her brow but then she saw Sunmi's mother who was yelping in pain and she went over to her. Sunmi clenched her jaw as Zila came and she knew that now she won't be able to go shopping with Kay all because of Javi's interference.
"What happened? Are you okay?" she said in concern.
"Actually Aunt fell and hurt her ankle, she had to go shopping with Sunmi but now she can't go. How about you go with Sunmi and I will stay here with my aunt," Javi spoke before anyone could say anything.
Zila nodded and smiled at her while Sunmi and her mother gasped and looked at each other with horror as their plan got ruined, Sunmi was about to cry at any moment.
It was her last day in this country, she was going abroad with her mother tomorrow and before going she wanted to spend some time with Kay alone but now it was impossible.
her off and said
"I will go with you too." Kay cut her mother before she could say anything.
Sunmi gritted her teeth feeling the anger course through her, she was breathing hard to control her anger but in vain.
Javi realized that she was getting angry as her plan was destroyed and she chuckled internally keeping a calm face.
Zila went to her room to change and in ten minutes she came back and they went to the parking area.
Sunmi walked beside Zila with disgust and hatred and she was barely able to keep herself from killing Zila.
Kay opened the passenger seat door and gestured Zila to sit with a wide grin plastered on his face.
She returned the smile and sat down. He closed the door and went towards the driving seat.
Sunmi watched them being lovey-dovey in front of her adding fuel to fire.
She closed the door with a big thud and sat in the center of the seat while her arms crossed resting on her chest.
Question of the day:
Will Sunmi be able to separate Zila and Kay again… Or not?
A) Yes.
B) No.
