Zila and Kay were looking into eachothers eyes as she was trapped in between the wall and Kay.
Kay's both arms, on both sides of her, making her unable to get out from there.
Their eyes never leaving eachother and Zila soon started to shiver a little, her hands sweaty and her throat felt dry because of the nervousness Kay was drowning her with.
She said to herself in an inaudible sound,
"Why do i always end up in this situation?"
She sighed at her own thoughts and her eyes met with Kay's eyes which were filled with rage and anger and it felt like you would never want to make this person angry.
Zila just wanted to get out from there but soon Kay pulled her by her waist keeping his arm around her in a lock.
Every part of their body from the waist down was touching his and she tried to move her legs, they would end up on the floor since she was already on her tiptoes.
"You are mine, Zila." Kay said in his husky voice that send tickles down her stomach, he whispers close to her face, Impossibly close to her lips as he gazes down in her eyes with fury and unmistakable jealousy.
No matter how much she was bold, his husky voice always made her weak.
She again opened her mouth to say something and this time she finally spoke
"Let go of me!"
She shouted at him but his grip was too tight on her waist. He narrowed his eyes at her and just tightened his grip more on her.
She was getting nervous because of their closeness and Kay again spoke.
"When I tell you something you do it, not defy me. I told you that if I saw you near that guy there will be consequences but it looks like you didn't take my words seriously, now I will show you what I can do."
Just as he said that his grip lossened on her and he finally let go of her. He started to walk back towards his table. She was trying hard to understand the situation and adjust herself as her breathing hitched and her mind was wandering off.
He was near his table when she spoke after adjusting her voice so that she won't look weak in front of him.
"You can't force something like this upon me."
She firmly restated her point. Kay was quite hard to figure out. He was oddly sarcastic and unemotional. Her wrist had a bruise now because of Kay's death grip. She looked towards her wrist and her eyes filled with tears when she saw her wrist that was now red.
Kay looked back and his eyes fell on her bruised wrist.
His eyes immediately softened and he held care and affection in his eyes now. He came towards Zila who glared at him with disgust and hatred and he gulped at this but still continued to come close. He was now just a few inches away from her. Her eyes went wide at their closeness but still maintained her expression as she didn't wanted to feel weak and she was also angry at him.
One of his hands wandered down her waist and the other stroked her cheek, getting lower. He stroked around her neck, making her shiver and as a result he clenched his jaw.
He hated the fact that Zila now got nervous at his touch, he didn't want any of that, he wanted her to be aware of his touch and only his.
"I am sorry, I shouldn't have held you like that."
He said in a guilty voice and a small pout on his face. Zila couldn't believe what Kay just said and she wasn't able to believe her eyes.
The great Prince Kay was apologizing to her and she found it highly unbelievable.
She looked at him cautiously and stared into his eyes. She was trying to find out that why he said that to her out of a sudden? Was he really feeling guilty?
She was still in her deep thoughts when she saw him leaning closer to her.
She flinched when he leaned closer but he ignored that. She quickly walked away from him leaving him there in that position.
He was still standing there in the same position when he snapped his eyes towards Zila who was looking at him with a stubborn expression and pouted a little.
He rolled his eyes and went towards his seat. He sat down not before adjusting his coat.
Zila was just about to say something when there was a sudden knock on the door and both of their eyes snapped towards the door. Kay gave the person permission to enter and he entered. He was the same guy who was sitting in the cafe and who sent the pictures to Kay. He was Kay's right hand man, he entered the room with an emotionless face.
He bowed a little in respect to Kay and said, "Prince Kay!"
Kay nodded and gazed him up and down. Zila was still standing there so when Landen came in she just sighed and started went to sit on her seat.
"Where were you?"
Kay asked him and a smirk plastered on his face. He chuckled a little when he remembered the two jealous boys earlier.
He was with Kay from the start even before his marriage with Zila so he was quite aware of his boss's possessive nature. He was well aware of Kay's anger issues and his dominant nature but he was always loyal to him as he owes him his life.
>>>FLASHBACK<<<
Landen was walking peacefully in the dark night. It was 10 at night and it was the type of coldness that reaches into people's minds as if Landen's heart were a door left wide open for the icy wind.
The only thing to do was keep on walking towards home and the he could only feel his own warmth. Each step became a prayer for home as he walked.
He was cold, helpless, tired, dizzy and frustrated but still didn't lose his hope and continued walking.
He was actually just 18 and used to earn money by doing different part time jobs.
His father used to gamble a lot and drink so he beat Landen to give him money and when he don't give him he torture him with different methods. He used to wipe him and lock him in a room for days without and food.
They actually used to live as a happy family, his parents loved him and gave him every luxury of life but then when he was about 16 years old her mother died in some kind of bomb blast. He missed his mother very much and used to sleep with her picture.
His father couldn't take all this and started drinking and gambling. He loved Landen's mother with all his heart and when she died he wasn't able to take all this so he started drinking and gambling.
He used to take out his all frustration and anger on Landen and he just tolerated everything with patience but with a heavy heart.
He missed his mother, his happy family, his friends who left him after his father got bankrupt because he wasn't able to manage his business well after his wife's death. His life just scattered but he still didn't lose hope and worked hard.
He worked day and night, he also did some part time jobs to earn money but his father always used to snatch all the money from him and used it in gambling or drinking. Whenever Landen protested and hide some of the money earned by him it always ended in him being tortured by his father.
He still kept hold on his patience hoping that one day everything will get better.
He was going back to his home after doing a part time job in a cafe as a waiter. He didn't ever hate any type of work or profession and worked hard. He was wearing a torn jeans with a black rusted shirt which looked like was quite old. His boots were also quite dirty but despite of all this he still looked quite handsome and his eyes shinning like a cat whenever light falls on them.
The walk back home was quite long and he was just hoping that he would find someone who will take him towards a bus station but he just sighed as the chances were very low.
The road was quite dark, rough and long. He wasn't able to see much clearly in that darkness so he blinked his lashes for a few times to get a proper vision but in vain.
Suddenly someone came in front of him and his eyes widened in shock. He looked at him with disbelief and a confused expression.
