"Don't worry. I can do it. I will do it. I will do it for my baby.
She told herself with determination in her eyes. Kay was also relieved and looked at Zila with a sad expression on his face as he nodded.
Soon some nurses came inside the room and said.
"It's time for the operation. We have to take her."
Kay who was hovering over Zila moved back a little and nodded at them but he still didn't let go of Zila's hand in all this.
He didn't let go of her hand until she finally was taken inside the operation theater and away from his eyes.
His heart sank but he told her.
"It will be done in no time."
Zila smiled as she was taken away.
She heard the doctor's say "Start now!" before the operation finally started.
When the labour began the pain was more intense than anything Zila had ever imagined. Nothing could be more brutal, not whips or chains.
