Zila said hurriedly when she realized Kay's heated gaze over her. He still had his frown on his face. Zila said that because she wasn't able to find any other solution to get out of that situation.
To avoid Kay's scolding and his anger she said that and moved towards the path from where she would be able to go back inside the house.
"Stop right there."
Kay told her when she was about to take some more steps and leave from there.
Zila immediately stopped there and didn't move from there any more. She just stood there like a statue not knowing what to do now.
The situation for her was now more awkward. She wanted to run away from there and far away but she didn't dare to.
Even if she tried to get away and run from there, Kay was still going to find her and it was not a big deal for him to find her and get her back in his arms.
