A hand grabbed him, it was swift like the wind and hard like metal. "Backtrack" he muttered, nothing happened. Noah damned the prison god, the wind begun hitting him in the face. He went up and down and sideways.
He looked at his kidnapper, he saw a yeti's face, a particularly happy yeti. A chase had begun.
The yeti ran all around the forest in full speed, with Shark close behind him. The distance between the two increased, until Shark couldn't keep up.
The yeti grinned as it looked at it's captive. Noah squirmed in its hand but couldn't make it move. It had more muscles in its hand than Noah had in his entire body. Noah looked at the haunting, grinning, blue face.
With each step the yeti took, he leaped one hundred meters. Noah's head felt dizzy from all the movement. The yeti traveled upwards, towards the mountains.
It passed multiple beasts on its way, beasts Noah had never seen before. Some had horns were there shouldn't be, eyes that were too many, sizes that a man couldn't possibly verse.
He found himself at entrance of a cave. Noah felt himself quiver as he peered into the never ending abyss. There was skulls and bones everywhere, they were of different sizes. Crunch! The yeti walked on one of these with no care in the world.
They walked into the darkness, Noah desperately tried to look around. He saw nothing, but the air didn't stop brushing up against him.
The air had stopped, they were deep into the cave. There had been countless bones shattered on their way here. Noah looked up at the yeti, his vision stopped at his arm.
He strained his eyes to look at him to no avail. He felt himself being moved, then thrown into a hard surface. He saw nothing, but when he tried moving he ran into staples of something hard.
He heard something close, and was sure he was inside of a cage. The crunching sounds exited, the yeti had gone out leaving Noah alone in the darkness.
'I don't want to die here', he thought. There was countless foul stenches in his vicinity, he caught his vomit in his throat. He strained his eyes to see something. He strained them as if his life depended on it.
He didn't see anything. His vision, smell, taste seemed to be near useless right now. Using his senses he walked around the cage, it was small, like an elevator.
He grabbed the cage and tried to shake it, they did, if only slightly. Instead of shaking, he made as much distance for himself. He ran forward trying to reach max speed and rammed into it.
They shook but nothing broke or got displaced.'Fuck fuck fuck fuck', Noah thought to himself. He rammed into it a total of ten times before giving up.
He had one more trick up his sleeve, the Yeti hadn't taken away his dagger. He took them out, and begun swinging them at the cage. They chipped into the substance and Noah had to drag it out.
His fingers massaged the cage until he found the small chip he had created. He hit it again and again, until he finally broke through.
He grabbed that part of the cage and pulled, he had detached one rod. He tried and squirmed himself out of the cage finding himself free, but clueless where to go.
"Crunch"
It was in the distance, the Yeti had entered the cave. Each second, he heard more crunches that gradually became louder. 'Fuck fuck fuck fuck', the thought to himself.
He ran but tripped on a small bone, his eyes strained themselves to the limit. If he couldn't find a spot to hide in the next ten seconds or so, this was the end for him.
'You have gained skill "sub-night vision"'
A sting in his eyes, he could see the outlines of everything around him. It was as if, there were multiple shades of black and the objects were slightly lighter.
His eyes scoured the area, he found a rock sticking out a fair distance away from him. He ran for the rock as if his life depended on it, he reached it when the crunch noises had gotten close.
There was a silence for ten seconds, he heard the yeti rummage around the place. He heard bone crashing on bone, bone breaking bone, then everything stopped. A roar that made his ears bleed echoed in the cave.
He heard the yeti run like never before, he ran right out of the cave. Noah breathed, trying to regain his balance. He instantly began running towards the exit, but a voice stopped him.
"Help me", it was a faint feminine voice. He looked back behind him and saw the outline of multiple cages. In almost all of them he saw nothing, but there was one close to him with someone inside of him. He bit his tongue, 'this is such a bad idea' and ran towards the captive. He stood in front of her, brought out his daggers and began hammering into the cage.
He had broken it and gotten her out. Noah took her hand and she tripped. 'I can't believe this fucking idiot', he thought to himself. He picked her up and began running out of the cave. Luckily, the yeti had not come back yet. It must have been scouring the outside, trying it's best to find Noah. For Noah it was easy to carry the girl, he had been forced to drag trees double her weight.
He saw the light strike down on the bone scattered floor. Noah looked at the girl on his shoulders and choked on his scream. Of course she was light, she was a skeleton after all!
