Noah almost passed out when he saw that the weapons he bought were the weapons of the adventure god. If the clerk knew about this, he would surely pass out from rage. Strangely, the clerk had looked really happy, as if he had made a good deal.
Both of them thought they had scammed the other one, and they both walked away happy. A strange way to make a deal, a very strange way.
He slept like a lamb, he dreamt the entire night about cutting down monsters using his daggers. When he had received them, they looked completely different from when he had bought them. Instead of dull, they were sharp, instead of being dirty and rusty, they shined of a black colour. He had swung them all the way back to his small room, everyone looked at him like a mad man.
He woke up and was met by the sight of his daggers, he had slept beside them as if they were his girlfriend. He stretched his legs and hit the wall, he clumsily got out of the bed. Using both his hands he grabbed the daggers and tried to lift them. They didn't budge, he tried to lift them again, they didn't budge. He exerted himself before he could barely lift them.
Both of them were almost twice as heavy as his previous sword. He swore that they weren't this heavy last night, maybe he was too estatic to notice? No, that couldn't be it, he swore they were lighter. Something was wrong about the weapon, but he wasn't about to try refund a gods weapons.
He'd simply have to get used to it.
"god of adventure commends you, 1+ strength'
His eyes were going to pop out any second now. He looked up at the sky and whispered thank you. Shortly after praising the adventure god, he continued walking out of the inn, he went to the merchant that sold salted jerky and bought two of them.
After he'd finished them he walked towards the adventure hall, the strain on his shoulders had lessened. The daggers didn't weigh as much, he lifted them up and they were still heavy but nowhere near what they were previously.
As he was walking towards the adventure hall he got looks from the people around him, he realised that he couldn't walk around holding his daggers unsheathed everywhere he went. He changed direction, and planned to get something he could put his daggers in.
The second he did, the daggers returned to their previous weight and fell down. He ended up dropping them, he bent down using his legs, and pushed to raise them. He walked back towards the market, he went to the closest weapon merchant and bought dagger sheethes, it cost him ten copper coins. They were the type you wore on your back. He put them on and put his daggers in them.
Lifting them up and putting them in the sheathes proved hard because of their weight, but once they entered the weight transferred to his back which made it a lot easier to carry them. But, once again. When he walked towards the adventure hall, they lost almost all their weight.
He thought about it,"maybe the daggers had some correlation to adventure, they are the adventure gods daggers after all". He looked at the quest board, there was multiple interesting quests, he thought about it and decided to take the bloodiest quest possible, he really wanted to swing his daggers around.

Deadline: two full days.

Noah ripped the quest off the board, but the quest could pose too challenging. He needed help, and he knew exactly where to get it. There was a guy that was completely bat-shit crazy, he was a year older and a rogue.
I
"Hey, Ode. I have a bloody quest", he showed him the quest paper, "down to tag along?". he licked his lips seductively, "Of course, beautiful".
They they were off, Ode was slightly excited and jumped instead of walking. He wore tight and very revealing clothes, girls would look at him and then look away blushing. Some of them would stare.
He practically only wore underwear, and was overly excessive with his movements. He had a sly smile plastered on his face, he turned towards Noah. Noah kept looking forward. His daggers had gotten incredibly light ever since they begun the quest.
"Ohh I'm so excited", Ode said, "their blood splattered on my face", a loud moan," I can't wait for it. His tongue was licking furiously swirling around his lip. Noah lightly laughed, "complete bat-shit crazy" he reaffirmed his original thought.
They started wandering through the forest, the grass was lush and green, the trees spacious and silent. Noah kept a keen eye for any tracks or broken twigs, anything that could mean life. They saw black smoke arising a few hundred meters away, they went towards the smoke.
He stood in front of the campfire. They were sleeping in the middle of the day. They had wooden sticks with the ends sharpened to resemble spears. They were dangerously bony, as if they'd been starving for the past two weeks.
"This is perfect", Ode whispered.
"I agree" a deeper voice came from beside them. Noah jerked his head towards that direction and unsheathed his daggers, who were lighter then ever. The wind rustled. The creature in front of him was not human, a black floating ball. It had two eyes, who were pointy and white. It had a large mouth with countless razor sharp teeth.
It continued, "I can't wait for full moon! I haven't had a feast in such a long time. Noah swung his daggers at the ball, they went right through. In a slightly irritated tone it went, "I know who to target first now". It disappeared into the air, just as quickly as it came.
