Blood shed of thousands just for millions.
The torturous battle cry of machinery.
The weeping calls of the beloved in one's ear.
This is war.
War is like an open fire of a volcano.
Yet they still fight like my Grandpa Mike.
With love fastened tight to show them the light.
For there is no better reason to fight than family at love's sight.
My Grandpa Mike fights day and night.
No matter how long the war.
He fights to live everyday of his life.
In my heart there's no better soldier in sight.
Even though he has been cursed by the hands of Agent Orange.
I know that my Grandpa Mike can never be replaced.
For the sniper of a soldier and the grandfather he is no one will be better than him.
If you were to ask my Grandpa Mike, what war was like?
He won't mind for his story is the bird that took flight.
Memories fade and go, but we honor those.
The ones who serve live on forever.
But war will rage as the peace fades.
My Grandpa Mike is honor through all his days.
He still lives and will continue forever more.
The battle of an uncivil curse,
Day by day is starting to reverse.
Those with wisdom have served unto thee for sweet liberty.
Down at Vietnam there was one who lead,
The snipers with leadership beyond compare.
A veteran braver than comprehension.
Who believed in redemption.
For he's a christian.
There no better man whom I'm proud of to call my grandfather.
A veteran.
A veteran unlike any other.
Yes there's a raging war inside threatening him.
It threatens to make his rhythm flat.
As far as we came there's no turning back.
No way, not today or any other day.
I'm not going to turn on mh commander.
For I am.
I am a soldier waiting for the command of a greater soldier.
My grandfather,
My grandfather is the one for me.
My grandfather will be cherished
By us his family for eternity.
I Believe he knows that he is loved.
But I love him the most.
For my Grandpa Mike is a veteran unlike any other.
