Xu Ningsheng stared as Xi Xia coldly.
What did she mean by that?.
Xu Xinxin pouted her lips and said
"I shouldn't talk to strangers and I should stay away from them." Su Xinxin wriggled her legs indicating that she wants Xu Ningsheng to put her down which he did.
Xi Xia carried Xi Xia and looked at the man in front of her
"Young master Xu...why are you looking for me?" Xi Xia asked as she looked at him coldly.
"Miss Xi...I don't believe you don't know the reason why I am looking for you" Xu Ningsheng answered.
"Anyway, if you still don't know, I'm happy to tell you." Xu Ningsheng continued as his gentle gaze fell on Su Xinxin.
"I'm here for my wife and my daughter."
Xi Xia almost spat blood when she heard that.
"Your wife?...you still have the guts to call her your wife?"
"After everything that happened...you still..." Xi Xia felt exsaperated. She didn't know if she would still be able to contain her anger if she kept on talking to him.
"Whatever happened between me and my wife is none of your business... I will only ask you once...where is Mingxia?" Xu Ningsheng asked as his eyes became red from anger.
He didn't like it when people brought up what happened four years ago. He wasn't proud of what he did but he didn't regret it either.
Xi Xia looked at him without saying anything. She knew that she wouldn't be able to fight him but she couldn't let him just take away her best friend and her goddaughter.
Xu Ningsheng smiled coldly. He knew she wouldn't give in easily. He forcefully took Su Xinxin away from Xi Xia.
"Godmother!!" Su Xinxin cried. She was shocked by Xu Ningsheng's action.
"Xinxin...Xu Ningsheng....what are you doing?...give her back to me!!" Xi Xia yelled as she ran after Xu Ningsheng who was walking towards his car.
"She's upstairs.... she's in my room... Mingxia's in my room" Xi Xia answered as tears fell from her eyes.
"Take me there" Xu Ningsheng said as he gave Su Xinxin to Jiang Ye.
"Fine...come with me" Xi Xia said as she turned around.
Meanwhile, Su Mingxia sat on the chair as she bent down her head, thinking of what to do and where to run to when she heard a knock on the door.
Thinking it was Xi Xia and Su Xinxin, he quickly ran to open the door.
"Did you...." Su Mingxia stopped when she saw the man standing at the door. She was so shocked that she forgot to complete her sentence. As she looked at the handsome and cold face in front of her, all the memories of what happened four years ago occupied all the space in head. Her eyes became red with hatred as she stared at him.
Xu Ningsheng looked at her eyes, there was no trace of warmth or love unlike before.
