Chapter 12 - the fake news

Zhuang tries to look concerned and sad but isn't very good at it.

So instead of trying, he sticks at Dae Hyuns side so that Dae Hyun could every so often cuddle into their shoulder sadly. Eventually they made their way to the back of the crowd of crying people, and meet face to face with Dae Hyuns confused dad. The man stares at his son, latched onto your siblings arm with utter disgust on his face.

"What is going on?" He asks, not knowing the meaning of the situation has made him angry. He wants to take it out on Zhuang, but you would not allow him to do so.

"Father... She's dead," Dae Hyun says this crying silently, leaving Zhuangs side so that he could hug his father and lead him to the scene.

Zhuang follows the father and son, longing for a family like theirs. Flash backs flood through their mind like a torpedo of pain. This causes you to loose control for a few seconds, whilst you programme their mind back to how it was, trying to make them forget the pain and torture you had both been through.

When the tall man sees the body of the girl he had watched grow up, he sunk to the floor crying silently to himself.

A buttler comes up to them. "Sorry to disturb masters, but it appears that she has overdosed on some liquid that had been in her foundation?" The young butler says this like a question in his Scottish accent, as if to ask if she had taken substances before now.

Dae Hyun takes the lead and speaks slowly, "that does sound like some thing she would do to herself... Especially after whatever happened earlier this morning." He changes the topic slightly. His father then looks at him confused, his fearful face stained with tears.

"I thought you would have knew, father. She was crying alot this morning, and Geomi had to try to calm her down. Before Geomi left to get her, her foundation. When they came back she seemed fine, so they came to my room. We then heard a thud and the smashing of glass, and came running in." He says this looking at my sibling for reassurance that he was telling it right he hid the looks with shock and devastation, selling the story perfectly.

Have you ever lied and not been called out for it?
