HARRY, the victim of stabbing by drunken men was taken to the Saint James Hospital by William and Henry.
Although he was saved from certain death, he remained in a comatose condition.
Since then, his girlfriend, Helena, also suffered for a long time because of her love for Harry.
But, Helena was just human who during her endurance and grief from what happened to Harry, was unavoidable to be tempted by other love, but because of her determination to be true to Harry, she has become strong not to be tempted by the love of William.
Because Helena wants Harry to wake up and have them together so that they can be happy, she talks to Harry crying begging him to wake up so that she will not be tempted by another love.
Helena's pleadings to Harry, without knowing of Helena, was heard by Harry. And even if Harry wanted to get up and hug her, he couldn't.
Even though Harry couldn't move, he knew that Helena was in a lot of endurances and he felt sorry for her. He wants Helena to be released from his mind and his heart so that she may look at her own happiness.
For the situation Harry has, he made a difficult decision that even he couldn't open his mouth, you could visualize him saying, "Goodbye Helena, I love you so much, I want you to be happy in your life and you face the happiness waiting for you. I know you love me but we can't do anything but to accept our own destiny. My life ends here, but I'll miss you in the after-life, goodbye my love, I'm setting you free."
Such a scene like this can only be seen in a movie but it also happened in real life, in the life and love of Helena and Harry.
Suddenly, the nurses and doctors in the hospital looking at Harry got into commotion.
"Doctor, the patient in the ICU was no longer breathing."
"Hurry up! Give him an electric shock right away."
Although Harry was given several times by electric shock devices to revive his pulse beat, nothing happened. He was pronounced dead by the hospital administration.
Immediately, relatives of Harry were notified and they rushed to the hospital except for Helena who had difficulty walking due to her foot injury.
Helena couldn't do anything but cried.
"Mom, Harry left me, he passed away," said Helena crying.
"Just let it be, Helena, we couldn't do anything after all his suffering was over," Helena's mother said sadly.
With Harry's death, relatives and acquaintances came to mourn his loved ones.
Even William, Henry, Amelia, and Vicky also came to sympathize with Harry's death. They are all saddened, especially Helena.
"Harry, why did you leave?" cried Helena as she looked at Harry inside his coffin.
What Helena did not know was that Harry had deliberately given up to give Helena happiness and freedom to fall in love with others.
What was Helena said to Harry at the hospital was clearly heard by Harry and even if Harry wanted to hug her, it could not happen.
And, maybe, Harry wanted to leave Helena so that she would not continue to suffer with him, even if he still wanted to live and be with Helena.
"Helena, we, your friends, sympathize with you on Harry's passing. Just be strong and strengthen your will, and perhaps wherever Harry now, he is happy in the after-life. Let us hope that whatever trials come your way there will always be hope," said William with a sad voice of sympathy.
"Thank you, William, for being kind to us with Harry. And I'm glad that you were closed to us as friends. I will never forget what you did to Harry," said Helena with a look of sadness on her face.
Harry was properly buried. And to Helena, she is now facing another stage of her life and for new love.
Half a year ago, Helena still can't forget Harry. Every time she thinks of Harry, she will just cry because of what happened to Harry.
"Helena, forget the past, it will not do any good to your health as well as to your life in the future. Now is the time to focus your mind on your future and have resilience in this life," advise of Helena's mother.
"Yes, mother, you're quite right, I should not stay in our past with Harry, and I'm sure he will be happy to see me, wherever he was, searching for my own happiness."
Helena was able to gradually forget about Harry and focus her time on her profession. She had many paintings exhibit and has been successful.
Unexpectedly, Helena and Arnold met again at Helena's gallery.
"Helena! How are you? Do you own these paintings?"
"Hi! Why are you here?"
"Nothing, I was just ordered to buy a good painting for the office."
"Okay, just chose what you want and I'll give you a discount," said Helena smiling.
"It's alright, Helena, don't give me a discount, anyway it's not my own money, but the office," replied Arnold laughing.
"Okay, just look around."
Now that Arnold and Helena have met again, was it possible that there be a love affair between the two? Would Helena now replace William in her heart or she would still remain him even though it was unlikely to happen because William and Amelia now were already lovers.?
After the pantings exhibit, Arnold invited Helena to have a meal at a well known fast-food chain in the area of Makati.
"Arnold, that incident happened to me a long time ago, but I still do not forget it, thank you for helping me when I was almost hit by a fast car."
"It's nothing, anyone who sees that incident would definitely help you, especially to a very beautiful lady like you."
At what Arnold said, Helena secretly smiled to herself.
While Arnold and Helena were eating, William and Amelia also entered the restaurant. Helena saw them that Amelia was holding William's arm that made her a little bit jealous. They sat on the other side without knowing Helena was on the other side with Arnold eating.
In the event that Helena saw William and Amelia, she felt a pain in her heart that she couldn't understand why even she told William to turn his love for her to somebody else.
Helena remembers their conversation back then when William showed Helena of his love for her but even though she felt the same thing with William, she denied it because of Harry.
Now, why was Helena hurt? Why does she seem jealous? What does it mean? Something in Helena's mind that troubled her.
Arnold noticed that Helena seemed to have lost her appetite.
"Helena, why are you stunned? What's wrong? Don't you like the food we ordered?"
"No, Arnold, sorry, I just suddenly remembered something."
"Is that so? Helena may I invite you to let us go somewhere, let's have some relaxation. Now that your fiancee, Harry, was already passed away I think you need to help yourself to forget the past for a new life."
"Ha? How did you find out?"
"Well, the first time we met, remember? When you were almost hit a car? I was there at the St. James Hospital and I saw you there when I visited my sick friend."
"Really?"
"Yes, and since then I admired your beauty. After I helped you to get a taxi I went back to the hospital to find out whose that patient in the ICU you visited, it was Harry. I used to say to myself that Harry would have recovered to make both of you be happy."'
"Yeah, that was a long time ago already but still fresh on my mind."
"And out of curiosity, I came back to the hospital after I think one and a half years to find out that Harry passed away. I tried myself to visit you in your home but I thought it was not yet the proper time until we met accidentally in your gallery."
"What made you be curious about that matter?"
"Well, I don't know, maybe I was concerned about you. I almost forgot about it but one thing I couldn't forget was your beauty."
"I wonder why you were curious about me?"
"I don't know, Helena, maybe I'm following my heartbeat, that's all. And I can tell myself that I am very lucky now to see you again, Helena."
At what Arnold said, Helena just smiled. Helena couldn't think of anything to say to Arnold. She was not ready to enter into a relationship even though she knew that what Arnold said was an indication that he liked Helena.
"Arnold, about what you have said a while ago, I'm sorry, I can't accept your invitation for us to go out together because I'm still busy with my profession."
"It's okay, don't be sorry, maybe some other time when you were no longer busy.'
"Okay, I'll let you know."
Due to the length of the conversation between Arnold and Helena, Helena secretly looked at the table occupied by William and Amelia but they were gone already, so she thought the two had left without her noticing it.
"Arnold, thank you for a wonderful dinner."
"Helena, I'll take you home."
"Thanks, Arnold, I can manage."
"Okay, just be careful, Helena."
When they left the restaurant, Arnold immediately called a taxi for Helena.
William and Amelia were still outside waiting for a ride. When Helena got in the taxi with Arnold holding her arm, Helena and William caught sight of each other.
Helena was very sure that William had seen Arnold holding her arm to helo her to get inside the taxi.
William did not tell Amelia that he had seen Helena because he could not understand why he was felt jealous of what he saw.
"What's the matter with me? Why am I like this? Why does Helena still in my heart?" William just said to himself.
"Hey, William, let's go."
"Ha? Ah, okay"
"What are you, William? You seem stunned there," Amelia said laughing.
"It's nothing, sweetheart, I just suddenly remembered something."
"William, I want us to go somewhere with Henry and Vicky like before we used to be happy in Tagaytay then, right?"
"Ah, okay, I like that too. Let's just contact Henry and Vicky for that matter."

William never lost sight of the scene when he saw Helena with a man. In his mind why is he acting like this? If Helena still stays in her heart what will happen to Amelia, who loves him so much.
Helena and William's secret love for each other now was complicated. What will be the end of their secret love for each other that began at the wrong time?
On William's side, he met and secretly fell in love with Harry's girlfriend, Helena. And when Helena is free now and can be loved without hindrance, then Amelia came to his life who loves him very much.
When something disturbed Wi8lliam's mind it was Henry he always called to give him advice on what he should do.
"Henry, let us meet now."
"It's nine o'clock in the evening already, why?"
"Nothing, I just want to have a drink."
"All right, let's meet at the RR Videoke Bar."
A few moments later, the two met at RR Videoke Bar.
"All right, Henry, let's drink another round."
"I know William you have a problem, that's why you invited me to have a drink, didn't you?"
"Problem? What problem are you talking about? I don't have a problem, Henry, You know me."
They only consumed four bottles of wine, yet William starting to say something different until he ends up telling his real problem about his feelings.
"You know Henry? I saw Helena with a man in the restaurant where we have had dinner with Amelia."
"So, what's wrong with that? Helena has the right and no excuse for her not to fall in love again."
"I don't mean that, Henry. but the problem was why I'm jealous when I see Helena with a man going together?"
"William, you better leave Helena alone. I know that until now you still love her. But the situation was different now, you have Amelia, who loves you and you have agreed to love. So, you better forget of your being madness to Helena."
"Help me, Henry, you're my friend, aren't you?"
"What can I do to help you with your problem?"
"Come with me to Helena, I want to talk to her."
"Are you out of your self, William? Why do you want to talk to her and for what reason? That you will tell her you loved her? You're crazy man, how about Amelia?"
"You don't understand, Henry. I just want to make sure she doesn't really love me and when I make sure she doesn't love me, I will completely forget about her, promise."
"You're drunk already, William, let's go home."
"All right, my friend Henry, hik! let's go home."
William when stood up was accidentally clung to one of the men who had drunk at the table next to them. The man got angry with William.
"Are you blind?" said the man who got irritated.
"Sorry, friend, he's just drunk," said Henry.
"You better take him away or I might hit him."
"What did you say? You idiot," said William angrily.
The man stood up and was about to punch William but his companion stopped him.

William got early to the shop and the first thing he noticed was what Helena had not done yet. It was the painting of his shop that she wants to include in her exhibit.
He thought that maybe Helena would never come back to finish what she was doing, so he'll just keep her things. He put them in a box, but unexpectedly Helena suddenly showed up that surprised him."
"Hi! William, I'll continue what I was left undone if you don't mind."
"Helena! I was surprised at you."
"Ha! ha! ha! What are you, William? Why do you seem so startled?"
"No, Helena, I just don't expect you to come and when you are in front of me I lose myself."
"By the way, how was Amelia?"
"She's fine. She's okay, kind, and cheerful. We plan to get married next year but I'm still hesitant."
"What? Have I heard it right the word hesitant?" said Helena smiling.
"Yes, that's right."
"But, why?"
"Because I have not forgotten yet the first woman I love. She was still in my heart. I want to first assure myself so that before we get married I have no regrets in my life."
"Who was she? Do I know her?"
William was about to answer Helena but customers came suddenly that he has to attend with.
"Helena, here are your things."
"All right, thank you, I'll just continue my painting."
And as Helena continue her doings, she lost her mood because of what William said a while ago that William and Amelia were going to be married next year.
"William, I'll just continue this, I suddenly have a headache that I have to go ahead."
"Wait, Helena, let's go home together, I'll just close the shop."
"But it's too early."
"I remember doing something and also let's have a snack too."
"Okay"
The place where they used to talk was where they went for a snack. And at that moment, while eating, they talked about their own feelings.
"Helena, one night I invited Henry to come out and we had a drink at a Videoke Bar. That was the day when I saw you with a man in the restaurant where Amelia and I had dinner."
"Maybe you had a problem so you took a drink. That's how I know when a man has a problem he drowns in alcohol."
"True, Helena, this myself is my problem."
"Why?"
"I want to be honest with you, Helena, when I saw you with a man in that restaurant I felt jealous, something I just don't know to myself though we don't have any relationship."
"You make me laugh, William," said Helena smiling.
"No, Helena, what I am saying was true."
"I know what you feel, William, that you have feelings with me and you have said that before, but the situation was different then. It is true and I will admit to you that I lied to you then that I don't love you, I had no feeling with you. I restrained myself because of Harry."
William could not believe to what Helena had confessed. Why did she lie, William just asked to himself.
"Helena, why didn't you tell the truth that you also have feelings with me too?"
"What for? I knew it would be useless, isn't it? And one thing that I do not want your feelings for me to remain in your heart, it will not be fulfilled between us."
"Helena, be honest with me now, I need to make sure that you have no more feeling with me. Helena, do I still have a part in your heart?"
Helena could not immediately answer William's question. She thought of Amelia, who loves William so much, she couldn't attempt to hurt Amelia.
So, Helena was firm in her response.
"I'm sorry, William, I've no more feeling with you besides I've got a boyfriend."
"Was he the man with you at the restaurant?"
"Yes, he was Arnold."
That's how William and Helena talked. Helena wants William to take responsibility for his life and for Amelia.
So, Helena lied to William again. She could sacrifice her own happiness.
And William in the fact that he heard from Helena, there would be no doubt in his heart anymore that he will not regret marrying Amelia because he was sure of himself, he will love her without any obstacle in his heart.
Such a situation between William and Helena who are still secretly in love with each other will be decided by fate if in the end, they'll be together.
