"I'm done setting the table" Kate said walking back into the kitchen with an exhausted expression
How hard is it to set a table?!
"Thanks ms"
"Oh please you can all me Kate"
"Mr Gerardo wouldn't be too pleased if I do that ms"
"Don't worry, I won't let them scold you"
"Um okay"
"How old are you Trina?"
"Well I'll be 17 in a few months time"
"How's it going?" Tristan said walking into the kitchen taking Kate by the waist
"Babe. Trina and I are just getting to know each other"
"Mum wants to know why dinner isn't served though. She seems to be really starving"
"I'm done dishing the food sir" she said making eye contact with him. She knew he didn't want her to call him sir but she did it anyway.
"Okay. I'll help you get them to the table" Kate said
"Babe, I'm here to help. You can go get seated at the table"
"But I wanna help too"
"Common, you're my guest. Let me spoil you a bit"
"Okay baby" she said pecking him on the lip before walking out of the kitchen
"Your girlfriend is very pretty" Trina said putting the last plate on a trey and then Tristan picked it up
"Um thank you" he said walking out of the kitchen with it and then he appeared back in the Kitchen few seconds later.
"Trina are you okay? You've been acting strange for sometime now"
"I'm okay Sir. I have no right to complain about anything, I'm just a maid here"
"You're more like family Trina" he said taking a bowl of macaroni in his hands "did someone do something wrong to you?"
"No sir. You all have been very kind to me" she said taking a bowl of grated cheese and then she walked out of the kitchen leaving him behind

"Dinner is served" Trina announced from the entrance of the dinning room.
"Oh thank God. I'm starving" Rachel said getting up immediately "haven't had much to eat today"
"Bon Appétit everyone" Mr Gerardo said as everyone began dishing the food into their plates one by one
"Oh this is wonderful" Kate said using a soviet paper to clean her lips "best Mac and cheese I've had in ages"
"Thank you ms. Its my duty to serve my employers, and I enjoy serving them to the fullest maximum"
"Such a sweet girl"
"Have you had anything to eat Trina?" Rachel asked but got no reply
Trina's mind was far away. She was busy reminiscing past events like when Tristan invited her to have breakfast with them or when they invited her to their monthly picnic at the park. They had been so nice to her but she suddenly felt to invincible.
"Trina?" Rachel called again "are you okay?"
"Um yes ma'am... Just feeling a little light headed"
"Oh. Then you're excused. Go lay down. We'll take care of the dishes for tonight"
"Really ma'am?"
"Yes Trina. We can't risk you getting sick"
"Don't worry Trina" Kate said looking up wearing a slightly wicked smile on her lips "I'll take care of everything"
"Thanks a lot ma'am. Um Good night everyone"
"You know, I'm considering firing this girl one of these days" Mr Gerardo said sipping wine from his glass
"I'll have none of that Reginald. That little girl hasn't done anything to warrant you firing her. Besides she has nowhere and no one to return to"
"Does that mean we'll have to keep her forever? She'll eventually have to go into the world Rachel. She'll have to start a family of her own"
"Mum, dads right." Darcy said putting his fork down "She can't stay here forever"
"She isn't old enough to fend for herself. Isn't it obvious? She's hardly 17"
"I believe we can keep her here for a few more years and then She'll leave. She'll be left on the streets with nothing if she leaves now" Tristan said
"I agree" said Conrad
"Whatever" Reginald said dropping his fork and getting up "Goodnight"

"I hate that you have to go babe" Tristan said from his bed as he watched Kate put on her clothes
They had had their fun and it was already morning meaning she had to go soon.
"I know my love, I hate it more. So when are you gonna ask me to move in with you Tristan, huh? Its about time you know" she said intentionally dropping her shirt on the floor so she'd bend down in a sexy manner
"Soon babe soon. I just have to get my shit together"
"Okay baby".
"Common let's go downstairs for breakfast"
"Good morning ma.. Rachel" Kate greeted as she took a seat on a chair opposite her in the dinning room
"Morning. How was your night?"
"It was wonderful. Slept like a baby" she said as she and Tristan glanced at each other
"That's good"
"Hey mum, where's dad?"
"Oh, he's just packing his luggage. Your dads so stubborn, he wouldn't let me help me pack his luggage and he wouldn't let Trina do so either"
"Luggage? Where's he going?" Darcy asked confused
"Oh did I forget to tell y'all? We're going to Spain for a while" she said blushing like a 6 year old who's just been given a years worth of candy
"Going to Spain for a while? Mum what's going on?"
"You know all your dad does these days is work and work. So we've decided to go away from all the action for like a month. Just relax, go site seeing, and do some leisure activities. Isn't that awesome?"
"Yes mum it is. But you guys should have at least given us a heads up or something you know" Tristan said pouting
"Oh I'm so sorry honey. It must have skipped my mind."
"So when are you guys leaving?"
"Well our flight is by 12noon so we should be out of here in about 30 minutes"
"Well that's news. Have fun in Spain ma"
"I sure will"

"Mum, We're all grown ups. There's really no need for all this talk" Darcy said fed up with Rachel's goodbye speech
"Oh I know, but I just feel weird about leaving you all alone"
"Again, we are all grown ups mum. We can take care of ourselves and we'll be just fine in your absence"
"Please take care of Trina boys. Do your own thing by yourself so she won't have much on her plate"
" okay okay. Bye mum"
"Trina.."
"Yes ma'am" she said coming out of the kitchen with a napkin in her hand
"Take care of yourself okay? I promise I'll be back before your birthday"
"Okay ma'am. Have a nice journey"
"Common Rachel, we'll probably miss our flight if you keep being so sentimental" Reginald said walking out of the house
"Alright Alright. Bye boys, momma loves you all".
"Well I guess I should be on my way also" Kate said getting up from the couch where she sat beside Tristan
"Ugh so soon baby?"
"Yeah. I promised my roomie I'll go shopping with her later today"
"Oh I see. I guess I'll see you later then"
"Yeah. I'll text you later Tris. I love you"
"Oh the drama" Conrad said rolling his eyes
"Hater"
"Bye boo" Tristan said waving her as she walked out of the house.
"So we've got the house to ourselves for a month huh?" Tristan said with enthusiasm
"Yeah. But think about it, we've always had the house to ourselves because mum and dad are hardly ever home" Darcy said looking up from the daily sports magazine he was engulfed in
"True fact" Richard added
"Yeah yeah whatever. I'm going to my room to lay down"
"That bed should be scarred already due to too much porno scenes from last night dude. Why don't you let it be for a while" nick asked laughing
