Swaying to the nonexistent music, Mina's heart began to race as President Lee stared deeply into her eyes. He was not speaking, but her eyes kept landing on his lips. She wondered if they were as soft as they used to be and wanted nothing more than to feel them again. She nearly leaned into the man, uncaring who was watching, but the fear of having him pull away was too great and his voice finally snapped her out of her mind.
"You may have written this song to make me angry, but I don't take it that way."
"No president Lee, you aren't a complete fool. I expect that you understand why she agreed to sing it."
"I do, and I want to clarify, most of these women lied."
"Lied or embellished?" Ian spun Mina and pulled her back into his chest with enough force to make her gasp, but not enough to hurt her.
