Luna dropped Mina in front of the Lee building and rushed to meet Tavin. She made sure to text Zane just in case Ian forgot about their arrangements and made plans with Lisa.
When Luna strode into the restaurant, her vision immediately focused on the man who was her pretend boyfriend and she wished it were all real. Luna was so head over heels for Tavin that she felt lost. She knew that they were acting and yet, she went along with everything, pretending not to like it when she knew she did.
Tavin had been devoting himself to the act and a small part of Luna felt guilty for having to drag him into her mess, but then again, he deserved it. Besides, she really needed his help, if Ian ever found out what had transpired in Gespa, he would have killed Shai Cal and blamed Lisa.
The thought of Lisa and Ian snapped Luna back into reality. Tavin had cheated on her, that was a fact, but why did he act as if nothing happened between them?
"You seem distracted," Tavin said.
