"Ashley it's time get up you have to go to school." My mother yelled at me I slowly rose from the bed and walked to my bathroom. Once I got to my bathroom I did my morning routine and put on some clothes for school. (Also Most of the characters in this story are black. Like Ashley her family her best friend and Ryland.) Once I changed into our school uniform I walked downstairs to the kitchen where my family waited for me.
It's the start of Junior year hopefully there won't be as much drama as last year. I just want a drama free year is that to much to ask. After a boring breakfast with my parents I got the garage and walked in to my Mercedes-Benz. "Can I catch a ride with you?" My brother Joshua asked me. "Sure get in." We go the same school and he hates walking and riding with our parents. "Thank you." He is a sophomore.
Once we arrived at school my best friend Jocelyne came up to me. "Hey Ash." "Hey Josie what's your schedule?" We showed each other our schedules and we are in all of the same classes. Just as we hoped but then and there my heart skipped a beat and time stop when we past by a freakishly hot boy. He wore a leather jacket over his uniform and had chain on the pants. "Ash he was so hot." "I know but let's just get to class."
Once we got to class the P.A. System came on in my class. "Mr. Harris can you please send Miss. Ashley Brooks to the front office." Then it came off he signaled me to go so I walked out of the class and to the office. When I arrived Principal Johnson was there. "Ashley can I see you for a second." I followed him to his office where the guy from earlier sat. "Ashley meet my son Ryland Johnson. He is new to the school and I would like you to be his guide." Ryland rose up from his seat he was tall also he put his hand out for me to shake. I took and then I felt different it was WeRiD I have no idea what is going on with me. "Now off to class you two."
"So Ashley let me guess your a junior also and we have all the same classes together." I looked up at him then at his schedule and he was right. "How did you know?" He smirked "I'm always paired up with someone who has all the same classes as me." "Doesn't everyone?" "Nope initially the Student Co President shows the new kid around." No that I think about it he was right. "Well then here is our class." "I'd rather not." "Well you have to because this class is hard and you need good notes to pass here I'll help you."
