A god could possess a god's essence only. How could it ever be granted to a mortal? A priest, the most devoted among them, cannot access his god's power. Not one of those claimed by gods as their own can even grab an iota of their essence.

He sneered, "You're not telling me he's actually a god?"
When his words faded away, all looked at Moulin, who was equally shocked by what was discovered there, as well. The young man's eyes strained upon the radiating orbs of his mana, seeking a flaw in them. But like the others, he found nothing.
