Chapter 85 - Chapter 85: Specialising In Wind

As he briefly wondered about it,

'Well, no harm is done anyway'

He thought. Brushing it off of his mind, he said to Rai,

"Okay, the 4 natural elements Fire, Water, Earth and Wind. Which one do you want to specialise in Rai?"

Seeming as if she had already thought about this before, she replied in a jiffy.

"Wind! I wanna specialise in the Wind element!"

"Wind huh? That would kinda match your hair colour. A blue greenish whitish kind of shade."

Rai was a little girl, with her hair being mostly in the shade of blue and green mixed together, and some parts giving off a whitish glow. Well her mother had white hair to begin with so it wasn't really strange.

She also had eyes in the colour of a red-ish brown, with the red colour not showing most of the time. She was around and most likely below 5 feet but not below 4'7. She usually wore the White Leather Robe, and a White shirt and a Light Blue skirt below the robe.

She had some protective gear around her as well, such as knee and shoulder caps, and also wearing Brown leather shoes.

"If that's how it is, then here, observe closely."

As he said that, he started to channel mana through his body, something mages don't usually do. And then summoned wind upon his palm as he held his arm out, then did the same on his other palm.

Then he started to rotate them faster, then slowly began to move them together, as the two got close, there was some opposition but he held on. As they slowly began to become one, he started to shape it into a spherical shape.

Then he suddenly moved his arms away, then extended the Wind Magic that was just around the size of a rock, to the size of a big circle, which he expanded to surround himself.

"This, i name 'Wind Consolidation'. So any questions?"

Rai was surprised by what he just did, a Grade 1 Spell-Wind, by summoning two of them and putting them together, you could make something that resembled a Grade 3 Spell-Wind Barrier. But what surprised her even more, were two things.

First was how he was channeling mana through his body to summon Wind Magic, not really knowing how it benefited the Spell itself.

And second, was how he expanded the Spell. There were some spells that existed which had special properties to allow them to be expanded or retracted, but doing that to a Grade 1 Spell was unheard of.

She got yet reminded of who exactly was teaching her magic, which made her yet again happy and jolly.

"Sir Godo, how exactly did you expand the Spell?"

She asked, and Godo explained accordingly.

"You see. A Spell is a series of steps that have to be met to be able to perform the magic that is imbedded on to it. What i just did was activate two Lower Grade Spells, then moulded them in the way i desired."

Well that much was obvious, except for that final part. Moulded in the way desired. Does that mean he had controlled the particles so that they would act according to what he wished, while still retaining the original amount of magic and not using up more mana?

"How did you mould them Sir Godo?"

"Well, you know how i channeled mana through my body before i used a Spell? That is the reason why. You see people usually don't channel mana through their body, but either through a medium like a wand, or the air.

When mana that has been passed through your body is used to activate a Spell, it gains some properties from inside your body which allows it to do what i just did. And, that's basically it, the rest is up to you to find out."

As he finished, Rai then began to try out 'Wind Consolidation' for herself, but she couldn't seem to pull it off quite yet.

Then Godo stopped her and showed her two more Spells called 'Gust Of Hand' which summoned a small tornado on the palm extending out to around 3 feet, and another called 'Wind Cutter' which summoned sharp blades of wind to where the caster wanted.

They were both Grade 3 Spells, but could be increasingly upgraded as the user became stronger and stronger down the magic line.

Feeling confident that this should be enough for Rai to learn for a few days, he decided to call the morning 'exercises' off. He walked over to Shuya and strained his eyes to see through Shuya's physical body, seeing that nothing bad was happening inside Shuya's body, he decided to wake him up.

Well you know the drill. After that, they went back, washed themselves, ate breakfast, walked around the stores and stalls, then finally reached the guild.

After sitting down on one of the chairs set down around a table.

"So, what shall we do today?"

Godo asked the team. They all began to wonder what they should do today, and in the midst of it, Shuya started to whisper to Rai.

"Sir Godo, can we go to either the Starter or 1st Zone? Me and Shuya were thinking about trying out what you taught us this morning."

"That is a great idea Rai. What do you think Miss Folaei?"

"I agree as well. Why don't we take a mission related to those Zones."

"Mm okay, if that's settled, what kind of mission do you kids want?"

They started to discuss about it to each other. After a few moments, Shuya said out loud,

"Let's do a gathering type mission again."

Hearing that Godo looked at Folaei, she seemed to agree as well. So getting ready for their day long trip at the Izhia Forest; buying food and things like that, they took a mission from the Board. It's contents were like this, with a small map attached to it.

"Well. Let's hope i don't have to kill again."

Somewhere Far Far Away, In Another Plane Of Existence.

An Entity was sitting on a chair, as he watched a sphere that was floating under a tree.

This was the Universe named Yggdrasil. And inside it, was a very special individual who held the power of the 7 Essence; Life and Death, Chaos and Order, Time and Space, and finally Reality itself. His name was Yu.

The Entity was watching this being go about his day to day life, closely looking at what he was using his 7 Essence for. And so far, it had been pretty normal, he never used it if he didn't need to, and only did when they needed some extra food or when he went hunting.

This was how he was able to live with only his wife and no one else around them. Speaking of his wife, she was currently pregnant.

Yu for some reason, knew exactly what to do, and made her wife stop working and decided to take on all the burden on him for now.

"Just sit down, it will be bad for the baby if you move around too much."

He said, her wife nodded and sat down on the animal hide placed on the ground. It was winter.

As the Entity watched, he smiled faintly.

"It really seems like his planet is a special case. No blood has been shed because of violence, yet."

Thinking to himself, he moved his gaze away from Yggdrasil, then began to wander his eyes around the green and lushful garden surrounding him. As he moved his eyes again.

Far into the distance, were 3 Divine Entities teaching a smaller being about things that were probably unlearnable without the help of these 3. Her name was Lilia Flous, she was leagues above some gods that were inside the Universe, but leagues below the 3 who were standing before her.

She was their disciple. And she, was starting to gain their powers. Many mortals had ascended to godhood and beyond, and had become statues of worship, but what she was gaining, didn't need any form of worship.

She was the first to reach, Origin.
