An Elf Boy was currently facing off against a group of goblins led by a rather large goblin. He was currently inside a forest, and had three companions with him.
Even though their numbers clearly outwitted the boy, the boy didn't seem to be nervous at all, rather he was smiling as if he had just found some sort of treasure in broad daylight.
The goblins seemed to be just standing there, as if waiting for an order, and they were. The big goblin was carefully observing the boy, looking around the area to see whether there were some people hiding.
While it was busy observing, the Elf Boy quickly ordered his companions.
"Adori! Kill the two goblins at the front and continue on. Fith! Pick up some rocks and throw them down from the air. And Cran! You disturb their field of vision."
Hearing this, the dog was the first to move. It quickly ran through the grass and proceeded to kill the two goblins standing at the front. With no time wasted the bird also set off and quickly took some rather big rocks off the ground.
The squirrel although was the last to move, was faster than both the dog and bird. It took some dirt from the ground below, then quickly began to sprinkle them on the eyes of the goblins.
The goblins, surprised by the sudden movement of the creatures, lost their composure and were unable to defend themselves. The big goblin, although it was also surprised by the creatures, regained its composure more quickly than the other goblins.
But because its eyes were covered with dirt, it could do nothing else but wave around wildly trying to clean its eyes. Followed by the sudden sound of rocks falling from the sky. They were unable to do anything.
A few seconds was all that was needed. The group of 9 normal sized goblins and 1 big goblin was reduced to a bloody mess. No one suffered any type of injuries either.
"Well that was rather easy. But I still can't get used to it. Well to be fair it has not even been a week since I've come here."
Saying that, the Elf Boy went towards the pool of blood and piles of flesh that were lying on the ground. It seems he was looking for something inside their flesh.
"Ah found it!"
On the hand of the Elf Boy, there was a shiny white shard with a part of a goblin engraved on the surface. After taking it and placing it down, he took out some other shards from a pouch on his waist then he started to put them together like a piece of puzzle.
After successfully joining 50 pieces of the shards, the irregularities between each of shards that were prominently showing were now completely gone. And a picture of a goblin had been formed. It stayed like this for a couple of seconds until it suddenly disappeared into thin air.
"Now if I'm not wrong. I should be able to see them now. Status!"

There were many things to look at this time, all of them being names of animals which are considered weak or not used in combat.
As the Elf Boy looked at the [Screen]. He touched the Goblin option. Just then, white intangible lights started to flock around from several directions in front of the boy, as it slowly took a goblin form.
After completely forming the body, the white colour started to disappear as it revealed the green skin that was lying down below. A goblin had been summoned.
The goblin was rather calm and did not try to attack the Elf and his 3 companions.
"Now let's think of a name for you. Hmm."
Now, it was the most important part. This would directly shape the future of the goblin. A bad name would not only shame the goblin but it could also form a personality that was not useful for practically anything. So it was important for one to carefully think of a name that would greatly enhance the summons.
After some more moments of silence. The Elf Boy finally came to a conclusion.
"I'll name you Kree. Kree the goblin."
As the goblin heard that, it seemed to gain some form of consciousness inside its soulless vessel, and became slightly aware of itself.
"Now, let's see how much my stats has raised."

Looking at the increase in each of the categories, the Elf Boy smiled, he seemed quite happy with the increase.
"That's a lot!"
He said cheerfully, as he continued to pick up some more white shards, and finally picking up a blue-ish shard that emitted a slightly blue hue. This was the shard of the rather big goblin.
A/N: I've been calling it (rather big goblin) for a while now. ( ~ . ~ )
Anyway. As he looked at the shard, he went to look for the summon in the [Rank-1] section. The number of summons that could be summoned was unknown to the Elf Boy. Even now, he had discovered over 5000 names of different creatures (and counting) in just section [Rank-0] alone.
What more, there was no limit to how many summons one could summon, and how many same kind of summons one could summon. So it had a very large potential, but also had a very large chance of being a useless [Class].
But the good news was, if one had a shard of a creature, instead of having to find them manually in the list, they would appear at the top, below the summons you had already activated.
So when the Elf Boy went to look at what the name of the goblin and how many shards were needed to summon it. He saw that its name was [Goblin Warrior] and when he touched on the name, it showed [1/30].
"A long way to go huh? Well, I've got a lot of time. I'm an elf after all."
As he continued to think about what he just said, he giggled and smiled. It seems the word 'elf' had greatly made the boy happy.
"Now why don't we keep on marching on."
As he said that to his now 4 companions, they started to head north, searching for things to hunt and to possible find some signs of civilisation. It had been around 3 days since he came here, and he had not seen any intelligent life yet. So he was a bit interaction depraved.
