"So what is your answer? Sir Godo, Miss Folaei."
Folaei looked at the Guildmaster and answered.
"We would like to Rank Up. Except the kids."
"Of course."
As the Guildmaster said that, he started looking around the small cabinets on his table, then he took out a paper, two papers actually.
"Here, take these. And fill out your names and information. Then you can show it to the receptionists and they will handle the rest."
So they began filling them out. There was a quill and some ink on the table, so they filled it out using that. After a few minutes, they went out.
"Thank you Guildmaster." said Folaei.
"No problem at all." the Guildmaster said with a smile.
They went down. Then went to the receptionist, then showed her the papers.
The receptionist took them and went back to the shelves. She started to look for something. Moments later, she came back with two rings. And two badges.
"The rings are used for authentication, so i suggest you always put them on. And the badge is for another authentication if you somehow lose your ring."
So doing as she said, they put on the ring. Then took the badge and put them on their pocket and pouch.
"Congratulations on becoming a C rank adventurer."
"Thank you." they answered back.
So they then decided to take some missions. They looked around a bit, and talked about it a bit, then decided to take a D rank mission.
"We would like to take this mission."
Then the receptionist took the paper, wrote something on it than placed it under the table.
Then there they were, walking to the Izhia Forest.
"What should we do if we meet a monster we can't beat?" asked the kids.
"Then you should just run to us." Godo said laughingly.
"Ok now look at this."
As Godo said that, he took out a small part of the ground using magic, then started to mould it to form a herb looking shape. He did this a few more times.
"Do you kids see these herbs."
The kids nodded while watching the moulded earth with glee.
"These herbs are the kind that are poisonous on touch. So whatever you do, do not touch them."
They nodded again.
"You're very knowledgeable Sir Godo." Folaei said.
"One of the perks that comes with age i guess."
"Probably not." She said chuckling.
Well it was true. Not every old person is wise and knowledgeable.
"So have you memorised them?"
"Yes, gramps/Sir Godo."
So he dispersed them, and fell to the ground. Then they started walking again. A few minutes go by, and now they are currently in the 1st Zone.
Along the way they defeated some goblins, many slimes and some slimeas. They couldn't carry all of them, so they just left them where they killed them.
As they walked across the 1st Zone, they started to enter the 2nd Zone. So they began searching around.
They looked behind and under the trees, between the grasses and beneath the rocks. Just like that, an hour had gone by. And right now, they had only found around 13 so far.
"So, with 13 herbs, we will get 650 copper coins. What do you guys say, should we continue to look, or should we call it a day."
Nene quickly raised her hand.
"Sir Godo, why don't i help look around. I am a spirit so i can easily search around for herbs."
"Oh, why didn't we thought of that?"
Rai addressed with a surprised look.
"Well what do you think? Do you still want to search around?" Godo asked the three.
"Ok!" They nodded.
So they were back to searching again, they looked around and around and around. Nene was flying around the place showing each of them where to find the herbs.
Another hour had gone by. This time, they found 39 herbs.
"39, so adding up with the ones we had before, it will be 52 herbs. And 52 herbs would be 2600 coppers. So 2 silvers and 600 coppers. Should we call it a day now?"
"I think we should." Folaei answered.
"Then a day it is!"
Exclaiming that, he gave Folaei the herbs, who then put it inside her bag, then they started to walk back. Along the way, Rai asked Godo,
"So Sir Godo, would you mind if we check your Magic Grade tomorrow?"
"Well I don't mind, but where do they check it anyway?"
"In the 'Grading Hall'. Inside a church."
"Oh, well that was quite unexpected. But why not inside the guild?"
"If they put it inside the guild, only the guild members would be able to utilise it."
'Hmm, well that's correct. There may even be corruption then'
"So where's the church?"
"We can just ask directions."
Godo nodded. After that, Shuya came to Godo, then asked him something.
"Gramps, can i come with you guys?"
Godo looked at him with a slightly disappointed face.
'I thought he would ask me about some techniques. Was my expectation a tad too high? Well they're still kids after all'
"Well ok. But we'll also be checking you."
"Ok!"
After the little interaction. They stayed silent.
After reaching the guild, and submitting the herbs, then getting the rewards, then splitting it. They went back to the inn. It was around 2 in the afternoon, so they decided to eat lunch.
Today, they decided to eat inside the inn. Ordering some meat, greens and dishes, they started eating.

.
.
Somewhere inside a forest.
There was an elf boy walking around with a dog.
"When are we going to meet some monsters?" he said with a slightly irritated tone.
"I want to have some action! Who goes to another world, then gets thrown into a forest, and has never encountered a monster to fight!?" he shouted, angry.
Then as if the heavens had heard his cries. Just a few feet infront of the boy, there were 2 goblins.
"Yes! Finally!" he muttered quietly.
'Subdue' he said.
Then the goblins froze, as if they were being watched by a creature from the top of the food chain. Just then, the boy quickly commanded his dog,
"Go Adori! Kill both of them!"
Then something unimaginable happened. The boy watched with amazement and fear. The cute little dog.
Had slaughtered the living bodies of the goblins. Only leaving blood behind. At the sight of such a horrible scene. The boy puked.
"D-d-damn. Summoner really isn't someone to be messing with. [Rank-0]? More like Code Red."
