Rose couldn't believe George. She wanted to throw a tantrum immediately but her mother calmed her down. What was that all about? Was her brother choosing that little swine over her? She could not believe it. She watched as George ascended the stairs with that girl in his arms.
Well, George must have a better explanation for ignoring her. She would just wait for him to come downstairs.

George carried Amanda into the guest room. That would be her room for the while. After tucking her in he looked around the room. It was a little too mature for someone who had suddenly turned into a child. He would see about it another time. He had to make sure she slept comfortably.
He closed the door quietly trying not to wake her. He walked towards the study at first. He would settle the two women later. As he had expected Mr. Sandoval was sitting in the study reading one of those historical books he had loved reading. When George knocked he told him to come in.
Without waiting for him to sit down his father questioned.
"How's the company?
"It's back to normal father. I cleared all those shareholders. Their family must have turned to beggers by now."
"And your murder case? I'm still working on it father. The victim is yet to get her memory, she's still traumatized but I promise to get it over with soonest."
"I'll leave it to you."
With that the conversation ended. George doesn't talk much with his father. But, they both acted and reacted to things the same way. They understood each other. He was already exhausted he decided not to speak with his mom anymore. He needed to get some sleep.
"Big brother who is that girl you brought home?" Rose questioned, she knew that her brother would try as much as possible to avoid a conversation with them. That's was why she waited for him beside his bedroom door.
George was also surprised to find her there. He tried to look as polite as possible and told her.
"You should go to bed Rose, it's late and I'm sure you have classes tomorrow." He said trying to ward her off. But, Rose wouldn't have it.
"Is she the girl? Brother why do have to bring her here. She could tell on us and our wealth would disappear. I'm sure you are too smart to know the consequences of bringing her here brother." Rose said with a face full of worry and concern.
George knew he didn't have the strength to argue with Rose, and he really needed to rest. He knew the best way to shut her up was to show her a little affection. He moved towards her and kissed her on the fore head. She was tall for a girl but beside George her height wasn't so remarkable.
"Let's talk about it tomorrow okay? I'll come and get you from school and we can have lunch together."
When she heard that her eyes brightened up.
"Really would you really come?" She asked again.
"I will." Having said this she hugged him and ran off to her room. She was so excited. She knew that her brother wasn't the type to break an agreement. So that was a great news for her. She could not wait for her friends to see her with the legendary George Sandoval!

Like the king of hell he got down from the car stepping into his territory. He walked flawlessly in straight and accurate lines straight to his office. Each department he walked past greeted him. The ladies adjusted their dress. The men were green with envy. Well... They had gotten used to as it was now a daily occurrence for them. They had seen a lot of display of affections towards George.
There was a certain time a female worker had bitten her superior at work. The scream the latter gave attracted a lot of attention and other workers gathered too. Everyone wanted to know what transpired between them both. The Superior's ear was bleeding so they had to rush her to the hospital first. So the female worker, when questioned, complained seriously that her superior had torn a certain picture of George Sandoval that she had gotten from the internet. She printed it out and placed it on her table, so that she could be looking at it every day.
"The picture brightens my day, it reminds me to keep moving even when it gets tough." She had said with all seriousness. That was why she forgot all her work etiquette as soon as her superior tore the book. The beast in her was unleashed.
She jumped on her superior and bit her so hard on the ear. The scream that came from the superior was what alerted their co-workers.
On another occasion, a female worker had constantly called George's secretary confessing her love for him, thinking she was talking to George. She didn't know that no one had George's private number. She only got hold of the office line. The secretary kept a record of those calls and later displayed it on one of the days the workers ate out together.
It was only normal for the men to get used to the situation. The showcase of affection was now a daily occurrence.

George walked to the Ceo's office his secretary and assistant followed him, each waiting for a new task to be assigned to him. This wasn't the only company George managed that was why he had a heavy workload waiting for him. None of his staff slacked because they knew the result would be a sack. No one wanted to get fired, and working under any of the Sandoval company attracted a lot of envy from those who don't have the opportunity to do so. Their pay was very attractive.
George on his own part knew that the moment the mind of the shareholders were corrupted against him, something must have stirred up the trouble or better still someone. He didn't want to jump into conclusion but he knew that something was about happening... Soon.
