"The Shy Girl"
It all started after she was born on February 13,1987. She was the quietest baby in the baby room at the hospital. They had to do random checks on her just to make sure she was okay. The mom was so happy that she was able to take that bundle of joy home the next day. Her mom was the best mom that she could ever have.
When it was time for her to start walking and talking, she did a lot of walking but no talking. Her mom used to ask her why was she so quiet all the time and all she could do was smile and laugh at her mom. She was so amazing and adorable, that when people saw her she would give them the most prettiest smile you could see. As she got older her shyness had kind of disappeared. Her mom used to try to sneak up on her just to see what she was doing, because she wasn't making any noise like the other kids.
When her mom finally found her, she was trying to read the biggest book she could find. Her mom didn't even say anything, she just stood there and watched her for a few minutes. As she grew older her mom would ask her "what she wanted to be when she grow up". So the little girl said "mom I want to be a crime scene investigator ". Her mom laughed and said "you can be whatever you want to be".
When her mom came home from work, she would find her sitting in front of the tv trying to solve a mystery on a tv show she was watching. She would sit and yell at the tv trying to tell the people what they were doing wrong. Time had went by so fast and the next thing her mom knew was I have a 16 year old.
Chapter 2
"Where have the time went "
Her baby girl was not a baby anymore and she wasn't ready to except that. She started watching things on tv and she felt like she wanted to try a few things. Until she was all alone one night coming from a football game. She was so afraid to walk home alone, because she didn't have any friends at the time. So as she was walking a car pulled up beside her and she got even more scared, because there was no one around.
As the car pulled up and the window rolled down, the driver asked"if she needed a ride home". She didn't say anything to him and then he got mad. He was not in the car by himself, he had three other people with him. So the driver kept getting frustrated and he stopped the car and kept taunting her. He then looked around to make sure no one was around and he grabbed the girl and put her in the truck.
He had thrown her so hard that she hit her head and passed out. When she woke up she was no where near her home. He had taken her to one of the passengers basement and tied her to the bed. As she started to come to and get her vision together, she was stuck with a needle and she passed back out. When she woke up, she noticed that she was back at the football stadium.
She started crying and ran all the way home. When she made it home, her mom asked "did she have fun at the game". She had given her a pretend smile and went to her room, and her mom didn't think nothing of it.
Chapter 3
"A changed person "
Her mom had noticed that her daughter was a totally different person then she ever was. It had been weeks after the incident and she kept it to herself. She would have nightmares at night that would wake her up and she would just sit and cry herself to sleep. She kept that secret about her being raped by those men to herself. She started to get mad when her mom told her she couldn't go anywhere with her friends.
So she would wait until her mom was asleep and sneak out. We had finally got a four day weekend from school so we went to our aunt's house for the weekend. So her and her sisters had meet some boys who lied about there ages, but we didn't care at the time. So they waited until there aunt went to sleep and sneaked the boys in. We were all just sitting around in the dark try not to make any noise and then one thing led to another.
So maybe a few weeks after, my other annie called my mom and told her "she needs to put us on birth control ". So that Monday morning she took her and her two sisters to the hospital to get the birth control done. We were all in the bathroom peeing in a cup and I turned and asked my sister" why my pee was so light?" But she didn't no why, so we came out the bathroom and handed the nurse our cups, she told us to go wait in the room we were in. When she returned after maybe 15 minutes or so, she said one of us couldn't be put on birth control.
Her mom looked confused and she asked the nurse why. The nurse told her that one of her daughters was six weeks pregnant.
Chapter 4
"A twist of fate"
Once she found out which one us was pregnant, she walked out and made a few calls. She couldn't do nothing but ask her where, when and with who. So she broke out in tears and told her mom the whole story. She was only sixteen and didn't no anything about taking care of a baby. So her mom made sure she ate all the right things while she was pregnant.
After she had the baby, her mom had her home schooled so she wouldn't miss anything. Then everything had started to fall to pieces around her. She had gotten some bad news that her dad was found dead. When her mom told her that, her whole world started to crumble.
He didn't get a chance to meet his first grandchild all because someone was in a rush on the freeway. She had made herself sick after she had gotten that news and she couldn't concentrate on her school work. Her youngest son took it the most, because him and his dad were like best friends. When he found out about what happened to his dad, his whole life changed. He started hanging with people he doesn't normally hang with .
Then one day the two had an argument and the son said he was moving out and he did a few days later. So with her son trying to figure out why his dad was taken away from him, he started doing things she never thought he would do. Then a few weeks after the incident, her oldest son had came to visit from the military. So all her boys had got together and went out to have some fun. She was at home up all night with her other kids, when she got a call from her oldest son.
She really didn't think nothing of it and she asked "him what was wrong?" and he said "we went out to eat and his brother didn't eat anything ", the mom new something was wrong and she told him to bring his brother home when he wakes up. At around 8 or 9 that morning she got a call from a girl who was staying with him. The girl was yelling on the phone and then she finally said that she tried to wake her son up, but he wouldn't move.
