8:00 P.M. H-street Officer Colony
Shriyank was whistling a song as he was treading towards his home on the street towards his home which was the last plot on the H street.
H-Street has 6 houses built in the lane which are standard 4 BHK [1] houses along with a terrace and the lawn and the most important part as the name implies, in the officer colony mostly officer grade people lives as they were allotted the house based on their officer grad and deeper they live in the officer colony higher their post.
As Shriyank was whistling a tune, He also started mulling over the strange words Neeraj said about Nitin " Did you feel anything off about Nitin. "
As Shriyank started remembering the moments he had spent with him he only came to the conclusion that he was all brawn and if a problem arises he will use power if unable to solve then he will come to us for them help for the brain part so he didn't think much about that.
As Shriyank was pondering over Neeraj words and the evening meet he reached his home which was on plot no. 43 as there was chest size entrance gate in front with a parking space and gate after that in for the house with drawing hall kitchen bedroom and storehouse along with it and rest on the second floor.
As he entered his house he saw his mother preparing the dinner and so he said " Maa i am back."
Hearing his son's voice Anupama Singh turned back smiling replied " Beta How's your day today. " Anupama Singh is 40 years old with elegant and kindly temperament which makes the people around her always blissful, if one can see her closely then can see that she had maintained her body properly as time had not been able to leave much mark on her.
Hearing his mother's question Shriyank replied " Maa it's been tiring day. "
Hearing his son's reply Anupama asked " Only tiring ? "
Seeing his mother is making fun of him Shriyank blamingly replied " Maa that wasn't my fault you did't wake me up at the right time so I was't able to meet him."
Anupama derided and said " Why I am responsible for waking you up you are 16 years old now, you should start taking some responsibility yourself instead of shrinking responsibility and putting blame on me for your actions. "
Seeing his mother's look and words and knowing that he can't win the argument against her so Shriyank changed the topic, and said " Maa can you talk to Nitin's aunt and find out he seems to be quite off today." remembering his conversation with Neeraj
Seeing his son trying to avert the conversation Anupama didn't point out the fact just get along with him and replied " okay i will talk to her tomorrow, It's late today it's not good to disturb someone so late at night. "
Hearing his mother's words Shriyank nodded replied " Okay Maa, I will be going to my room now. Call me when dinner is ready."
As seeing that it's past 9 and the she left her dishes on the gases and came out Anupama replied " Go busy on your own, i will go make the dinner ". and she turned and left and went towards the kitchen.
Seeing his mother went to the Kitchen Shriyank also went towards his own room.
Entering the room Shriyank sat on his bed started to remember how he met his friend.
5 years ago during the month of March after the final examination, One day to enjoy the Spring season his mother made him go with him as the excuse of enjoying the flowers but the real reason was he had become a loner due to his ridiculing tone among the class as a result he started befriending the video games and stop going out to play also so as usual his mother bring him to park to make some friends and change his loner behavior so he was forced by his mother to go to the park.
As Shriyank was playing the in his game pad a football hit him and the game pad slipped out my hand. Seeing that the gamepand has slipped Shriyank looked for a person who did this he saw a kid around same age as him went towards the ball started dribbling as nothing had happen seeing that the other person had no intention to apologize he couldn't help but say " Hey shouldn't you apologize after hitting me ? "
After his question Shriyank saw the little kid turned to looked at him and replied in a emotionless " You are just wimpy kid why should i apologize to you, if you want me to apologize to you then first score a goal against me here."
Seeing that the two kids bickering their guardian also came out to settle the affairs and this is how Anupama Singh and Renuka Kumar became friends as they were both born from high class society so they weren't able to mesh with the people here so they become friends as how it was later part of the story.
As the two ladies came they both started to berate their child and asked them apologize in one hand due to fear of his mother being angry Shriyank simply go ahead and apologized as for Nitin he only replied " Score a goal against me first, i won't apologize to a wimpy kid like you."
Hearing Nitin words Renuka start apologizing as for Shriyank seeing the disdain in his voice he riled up and said " Let's go I will show you i am not a wimpy kid "
Nitin only glanced at him and said "Let's go"
Seeing the two behave like this both ladies glance at each other smiling in gratitude.
