Chapter 132 - Increasing Enemies

Loud thrashing was heard throughout the dark hall. Being painfully aware of the drill, all of the mansion's employees hid themselves as they pretended to do menial tasks. As if wanting to justify their distance from the obviously furious man currently obsessed with destroying anything and everything he could get his hands on.

It was no secret that Calvin was not a patient man. But after his meeting with the Blood Raven, it was as if his own blood refused to drop it's temperature from boiling point. As soon as he arrived, he had made sure to worsen everybody's mood. Leaving no mystery behind as to why the resident employees were using every excuse in the book to avoid going near his wrecked office.

"Has everybody gone mad!?" Calvin yelled to no one in particular as he kicked over his desk. "I'm the master of the Phoenix Clan! And yet he thinks he can threaten me!?" His chest would vibrate from the loud shouts as he continued to slam and throw anything in sight.

Having laid waste to the entirety of the space, he stood in the center of the room while eying the wreckage around him. There were papers scattered across the floor, shattered pieces of furniture everywhere and a broken monitor by the flipped over desk. Feeling satisfied with the damage caused, he straightened himself.

Now standing tall, he brushed his hand through his hair and took a deep breath. Seemingly attempting to regain control. Fixing his disheveled attire, he spoke to himself. "Just another bug to get rid of Calvin. Nothing more."

He took his leave as if he hadn't just ruined the entire room behind him. The echoing sounds of his steps bounced through the hallway as his silent thoughts drowned out any other need to ruin the rest of the house.

Despite all the destructive rage, he hadn't broke a sweat. But thinking about the possible consequences of the unexpected turn of events was another story.

'The Blood Raven needs to be a problem of the past.' His pulse began to elevate. 'Or father will be less than pleased with me if he ever finds out I've kept increasing our enemy's in his absence.'

At Villan Enterprise.

The persistent vibrating stirred Aiden awake. Already hyper aware of his surrounding, he couldn't help but struggle to open his groggy eyes. Without moving, he slowly blinked away the deep slumber that was threatening to take him back. Immediately, he noticed how tightly he had his arms wrapped around his little Angel's petite figure.

They had slept like a pair of logs while in each others embrace. And although Aiden couldn't be happier, he was slightly dumbfounded.

'Did she really sleep like this?' He wondered in awe to himself as he noticed how deeply she had buried her face into his chest. But without giving her position much more thought, which he was sure limited the amount of air she was breathing in, he focused on the consistent vibration that had gotten him to wake up in the first place.

While being extra careful not to move too far away from the woman using him as a suffocation pillow, he turned to grab his cellphone. Once in his hands, his eyes widened slightly.

The two missed calls on his phone log were shocking to say the least. But the messages? They were enough to have him want to sit up in true confusion.

But seeing as he would never voluntarily give up being his little Angel's body pillow, he simply replied to the most urgent message and placed his cellphone back.

Sleeping soundly, Claire made no gesture to wake up. Giving Aiden the opportunity to savor the sensation of having her to himself a little while longer. Not being able to see her face, he played with a loose lock of her fiery hair. Mesmerized as always.

"It's time to get up Angel." Aiden was less than pleased with the fact that he couldn't see her sleep longer, but it was unavoidable. Especially after reading the messages he received.

Her serene figure made a soft smile spread across his lips as he continued. "Rise and shine Angel. Don't we have plans today?"

Without any movement, and with an extremely muffled voice, she surprised Aiden with an answer. "But I'm comfy."

A warm and unexpected chuckle broke out of him. "Are you now? Here I thought you had passed out from lack of oxygen."

"We both know It'll take much more than a little suffocating to take me out." Her giggle, although in a muted tone, highlighted how drastically different her mood was now compared to how their latest meeting began. Causing true relief to wash over Aiden.

"An undeniable fact Angel." He slowly stroked her head prompting her to look up at him with a gentle smile. "But there's another little red haired beauty we need to pick up before going out and about."

At that Claire pulled her head back in order to properly see his face. Once greeted with a warm smile, she couldn't help but offer one back. "I guess we do have plans today."

"Indeed we do Angel." Aiden replied while giving her forehead a soft, yet meaningful kiss. "How about we make the most out of them?"

"As long as I get to spend the day with some of my favorite people, I'm down for anything." Claire couldn't help but let herself melt due to the sensation of having his lips pressed against her skin while laying comfortably in his arms.

"We'll we'd better get to it then." His answer was a joyful one.

Having already thought of a thousand things he would enjoy doing with his favorite girls, there wasn't anything that he would allow to get in the way of finally having a day together.

Nothing. Not a single thing. Not a single problem.

And especially, not a single person.
